Other videos don't quite explain the part about making sure the tail needing to be under the knots that you tie. This guy explained that and showed it. Also detailed hot to pull on the tail while holding onto the bandanna on the base of your head so that you don't have it looking all uneven when wearing it. Well done bro. I made one perfectly after watching this. I found that I keep the triangle about halfway when first folding it. If you go less than that, if have the tail too long, it'll make it hard to tie knots over it as it gets in the way because its too long when tieing,so I use about half bandanna when folding. If you use less it creates problems.

people love to call out Eminem for wearing "durags" early in his career. But i think in 2002 Em was actually making his own line of "durags" which i think are bandanas that are tied like durags to match the style of his friends (50/d-12) and the current time. I think it's a bandana because it's never see through. it almost looks matt white. something he probably had made custom for him. But he was doing it to avoid all the sensitive people who don't understand that you can be whatever race you are and wear whatever you want..as long as it is not hateful. I wish Em brings back the durag/bandana look.

Depends if you have curly hair or not, but a durag just keeps your progress and compresses your hair, to get waves you have to brush and compress

This works great... for STRAIGHT HAIR WAVERS.
