FINALLY! Someone with a REAL Step by Step how to paint something video for everyone. THANK YOU Ashley for EXPLAINING what you are doing and why. Unless you have a "natural talent", teaching art is MORE than just "watch me do it", you need to communicate WHY you are doing what your doing to help your students gain a deeper understanding of the tricks and techniques YOU are using. Although these may change from artist to artist, being able to learn a handful of these various techniques from different artists, and make them my own, has vastly improved my painting skills. Your approach is more like the late Bob Ross' method who took the time to explain the techniques he was using rather than just show you he can paint a picture over music. I can't wait to see your other videos!

I absolutely love this painting and it's amazing how well you taught this acrylic novice so much in one painting! Love your enthusiasm and really appreciate how you took it step by step so we could follow you!!.
Wow! When that pink came in it really added depth to that scene. It went from a flat painting to a picture of the ocean. I like the way you had to wait until the sun started setting in order to show us what you were adding with that. Nice!

Amazing Amazing painting. I've been doing seascapes and have been following so many on RUclips. But I stumbled across this. The simplicit way you explain, style and mixing of colors are so different how other do it. I'm blown away. Just found this and I love it, I'm just a beginner so will have a try at this. You made it look simple but I'm sure I won't find it as easy as you make it look 😂
My aunt loves the beach and is redecorating her bathroom to be beach themed, asked me to paint a beach for it, was having trouble with the waves and sand underwater. This helped a lot! Thank you
So interesting, relaxing and from your side, so informative, and easy going .I love the rolling waves the best. I wish I could be so free with the brush . I would love to create such lovely work of art ❤Thank you for sharing 😊
Thank you Ashley for being so generous by sharing. Ashley you have great talent and potential which I hope keeps rolling like the waves of the sea. And Ohmygosh! You are so modest unlike so many shameless women that I have to compliment you.
I loved this so much!! I'm trying to learn about paint and why we use certain colors for things and the different effects they can give. I loved the way you explain things and why you do the steps you do. It helps me understand a bit more about painting :) Just a question, how did you become so good at painting? We're you a natural ? Did you take classes or a mixture of the two?
While she was painting and the sun was setting I was so confused, I was like where’s the sun? (I’m on the west coast) And at sunset it’s always a beautiful yellow, orange, pink, to a dark blue in the sky, and the clouds are practically cotton candy, aside that, it’s a beautiful painting
This painting is on the east coast in the state of New Jersey. The sun was setting to my right, on land while I painted this. I do love the west coast sunsets over the ocean too! You can see all the tutorials from my travels here: www.createfulart.com/my-vlog.html
