Not many things can reduce this grown man to tears. But this had me crying over my keyboard. Can't imagine how Jake must have felt stepping up to try to fill his uncle's shoes. Rest assured Jake, I closed my eyes and it could have been the Big Man himself playing that sax. Can't say it any better than that. BE PROUD!
I have been a fan of Bruce a long time. Now every single time I listen to a live version of Jungleland I get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. It kills me that the Big Man is gone.
This was amazing! Jake sounded just like Clarence! It gave me the chills and I was crying through the whole song! One of my favorite songs! Jake made his Uncle very proud! Miss you Clarence!
Wauw. Teary eyed as I watch this again. Most emotional musical experience I've ever witnessed in person and after 46 Bruce shows that last night in G-town was my best ever. Thanks for filming this.
This was the moment I realized that I would never would forget this night! Still more then 12 months later I still get goosbumps and my eyes fills up! Amazing conzert!
When the musicians and the audience completely understand each other, magic can be created on stage. What an amazing performance and what an amazing crowd!
Absolutely fantastic. I didn't think they would ever perform it again. Seen The Boss three times and he has still never played it. Top 10 songs of all time, Clarence would be proud of Jake!
I had been wishing for this song for months. So I made a sign, and when he was signing with that boy I put my sign up his face (I was 1 meter away). I feel I paid a small part in getting this song played. It was for sure an epic concert. Not just this song but the entire night. It will forever be one of those nights people talk about where magic happened. I was dancing like crazy and also crying 3 times (RIP Clarence).
Dear Clarence ,God is here to make you live for ever because nobody will ever forget your talent and your amazing music in which you left your saoul, your heart and your life ! You are now a King in Heaven
Went to see Bruce in Vancouver. It is rare to see an artist playing such big venues have such a connection with fans.Jungleland one of my favs,a very emotional time for the band and Clarence`s fans
Greetings from New Jersey, home of Bruuuuuuuuuuuuucce! Thank you for posting this video/tribute to Clarence Clemons. I cannot tell you how many times that I have watched this video. It never gets old, only better. Thank you.
Henrik, saw "Jungleland" I clicked on, knew what it was about: Jungleland, Clarence,Bruce speaks, "ok, nice".......then the Jungleland intro...wow, Goose bumps...thanks
I got the bumps aswell and my eyes starts to cry for the whole song. Such an emotional and epic moment in my life. It was such a nice tribute when they take the saxophone and put it on stage and put a light there to pay homage to Clarence.
Completely amazing. I was standing 7-8 meters from the stage from before 4 pm 'til 00.30, and I have never spent 9 more worthwile hours in my life. The moment when Jake points to the sky (reaching an honest stand!!) had me crying. And that's what I do again, when I see this.
This was THE concert.period! For all of you who wasn't there , that magic night. It's so hard to explain - what happened that evening...Something beyond the normal... The best show I ever attended..And I've seen them 15 times...
I don't understand how anyone can press the dislike button on this one. It's one of the nicest videos I saw, the sound is good, the song is wonderful, Jake was outstanding. And I also don't understand people when they say "oh, Jake nailed the solo" ... Yeah, why shouldn't he?! He is a very good musician, just like all the other in the band. All the love to Jake
I was able to meet Jake at a meet and greet before a Clarence Clemons organization fund raiser (I'm not special, paid extra for it) and I met Jake who I had only read about in Clarence's book. He was humble, kind, and willing to talk to each person there as much as he could. Springsteen would not bring him into E Street without respecting him and it shows here.
THANK YOU for posting and getting the intro and emotional exchange between the band members afterwards......job well done for us that could not attend!
jake is awesome. welcome to the estreet family. saw bruce recently in manchester jake slotted straight into the band. no-one can replace clarence but i can definetly see jake becoming a firm favourite with the fans just as C was (and still is) rip bigman
I can't listen to a live version of Jungleland without tearing up and I have around 60 versions of it. It breaks my heart to know The Big Man is gone, same with 4th of July Asbury Park (Sandy) that hurts because we have lost the Phantom. There is band on the planet as good as the E Street. This so is a stirring version, and thanks Bruce for not mothballing it.
To This Day, this is the most emotional concert I’ve ever seen. I was completely empty for about a month after this. I didn’t want to do anything, I just felt empty and sad, but also soooo grateful for being able to see it.
Beautiful. Amazing. Incredible. Magical. Awesome. Magnificent. Powerful. Heartstopping. Breathtaking. Been trying for days now to find words to describe this concert, but somehow they all feel gray and dull in comparison, none of them will do, none of them even come close. All you others who where there, please let me know if you think of any, 'cause if I find that word I'm gonna frame it and put it up on the wall next to my framed ticket. Thanks a million for sharing, with the speech and all!
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Very emotional. I was in tears through the whole video. I was at the Baltimore show on 11/20/09. That was the last time Clarence ever played Jungleland and the last time the band played it until Sweden. Jake made his uncle very proud. Spectacular show. Can't wait until Fenway on 8/14 when the Greatest Entertainer on the World rocks New England!
You are very welcome! I am so glad for all the positive response to this video. I love it! Greetings to you from Sweden aswell :) One of my dreams is to visit NJ and see the Boss there :)
This is the "Eruption" for saxophone. I loved Clarence as a sax player. I wanted to do what he did. I love that his nephew carries the legacy onwards. This is fantastic.
Fantastisk konsert, en helt oförglömlig kväll och det här var en av de absoluta höjdpunkterna. Tack för att du laddade upp det här och tog mig med tillbaka till den där underbara kvällen!
It was an amazing experience to be there and to be able to record it for you guys. Such a lovely memory and I am so glad that he is coming to Sweden for three concerts in May :)
That specific moment when Bruce mentions Clarence by name and everyone in the pit where I was standing gasped for air and went silent with respect and anticipation is *still* making me tear up just by reliving the moment by watching this video
This is such a document! The best tribute to Big man from Bruce, the audience and Jake. Thanks Henrik for recording it and for sharing. Greetings from Uruguay!
Appropriate that the Olympics are going on right now; his was a true "passing of the torch" moment. Jake was amazing, but one of the other things I love about this video is how at the end ("in the quick of the night they reach for their moment, they try to make an honest stand...but they wind up wounded...not even dead"...the entire crowd is silent. I could turn my speakers right up and couldn't hear a pin drop (then Bruce sang again and my full-blast speakers shook the whole house).
All choked up and with goose bumps. Thank you so much for uploading this. So grateful to you, put this in my favorite list so I can keep it forever. And yes, I was there both night, but the second night will go to history books. It made me speechless. Just saying it like Bruce did: - Oh my god!
I was there, pure magic! The feeling when he says "This is for the Big Man" and you stand there in a few seconds of silence thinking: Is he really going to play... Could it really be... And then the violin starts the intro to Jungleland. Even today, after seeing it live and watching this video quite a few times, I get tears in my eyes when the song starts!
count me another grateful person to you for uploading this. i just saw them friday night in new jersey, at the 2nd of 3 shows. i was hoping they'd do this song, but i got a couple of my other favorites instead. i'm with madmarie2005-i would have been crying all over myself had they played this friday. btw, you did a great job with this video. the sound is awesome. thanks again.
The guy can do whatever he wants. He's not hurting anybody, nor cheating, or being "disrespectful". Not everybody must worship every moment of every song af an artist. Enjoy the performance for yourself, as you did. Stop being a whiner.

I stood in the crowd that evening, what can I say....for a short time we were in heaven. Thanks Bruce & band.
Galet bra konsert och Jungleland...wow, överallt omkring mig stod folk och lipade med nåt lyckligt uttryck i ansiktena. Magic moment!
I have been a fan of Bruce a long time. Now every single time I listen to a live version of Jungleland I get a lump in my throat and tears in my eyes. It kills me that the Big Man is gone.
quite simply thank you from those of us who couldnt be there
This was amazing! Jake sounded just like Clarence! It gave me the chills and I was crying through the whole song! One of my favorite songs! Jake made his Uncle very proud! Miss you Clarence!

Best concert I have ever seen and probably will ever see.
Brilliant song, brilliant sax solo, brilliant video. It is amazing what Jake Clemons has achieved on this tour.

Jake you made me cry thank you very much to all of you guys, and was very nice Roy moved from his piano to hug Jake

wasn't sure this song could ever be played again live. but Jake did his uncle proud. still my favorite song ever. The E Street Band Lives.
Completely amazing. I was standing 7-8 meters from the stage from before 4 pm 'til 00.30, and I have never spent 9 more worthwile hours in my life. The moment when Jake points to the sky (reaching an honest stand!!) had me crying. And that's what I do again, when I see this.
I cried during this song when it was played. I'm crying again when watching this video.

Too Big To Die!! Thank you for this. I'm not a person to cry often, but my god I am in floods of tears at this. Absolute perfection.
To This Day, this is the most emotional concert I’ve ever seen. I was completely empty for about a month after this. I didn’t want to do anything, I just felt empty and sad, but also soooo grateful for being able to see it.

"Clarence doesn't leave The E-Street Band when he dies. He leaves when we die" - Bruce
thank you...
Bruce Springsteen tells the story of life. It will be a life long story before he is done. Modern day Mozart.
