Hey Latoya, I watched and listened to this video/song. I agree with your comments. However I will say - The people that were supposedly "family" in the Hell I raised myself and other siblings never said or implied anything remotely close to what she is singing about. As for the whole "family" of my own as in marriage etc... Never happened - not yet at least and I doubt that it will but I haven't closed my mind on that or given up on that particular dream, hope, wish.... I can understand her pain, understand her loss and grieving. I wish I could say that "someone" ever cared about/for me in that way - nobody has ever said "forever" I keep Hoping, Praying, Wishing, Waiting etc... Someday that person will come into my life and I will be told "I love you for you!" Til then I keep walking this earth alone and lonely and wanting, waiting, longing to love and be loved.

I tried so hard to fight the tears hearing this song. I gave my all to him, put my heart on the line for him, I was afraid of ever losing him. I remember he promised me he'd always be there, that he'd never leave me, hurt me but he did the things he swore up and down to the heavens he wouldn't do. the only one I truly loved with a passion. I can't forget, erase or ignore the fact that I still love him. But the day he walked away after dealing with each other for 10 years it hurts and I tried to bury that pain away. Why give up and walk away after I tried my hardest and gave my all. Something I won't ever do again My God this hurts. now I'm trying to learn how to let go

I remember when this song came out I was going through a lot with my husband and I related so much to this song but I was determined to work it out....boy did I know it was going to get worse! 2 years later he did something I thought he would never do and now I am at a place of healing from ending that relationship. Crazy as this may sound, this song pales in comparison to I Remember and Love. Not only did she sing her heart out in those songs, but the music was top notch. I live playing the aforementioned two songs acapella and instrumental. The acapella really makes you appreciate her vocals, but the instrumentals are so beautiful that the producers and musicians don't get the credit they deserved on those songs.
