Season 2 Finale! And the big brown trout swims away!

This is the season ending video from segments of fish caught this past year but not used in a previous video. We were fortunate to catch a lot of fish and have a reserve of segments. Great year.
The Brook trout were quite prominent this year. I love seeing the fins, red, black white, as the fish is as colourful in the water as out. Seems the fall makes the colours more vibrant. They surprised both Alfred and me in the way a small brookie would attack the size 6 Panther Martin, very aggressive.
Austin, I think you probably had a great season too! Good luck to you for the rest of the school year. It’ll go fast!
I thought I’d put in a segment of the beaver family as they were always around, very inquisitive. The short of the baby was an incredible find, first time ever for me.
Alfred did ask me if I had a favourite video from this year. In a word, no, not 1 as there were different circumstances and some huge fish. It was an exciting season.
The video ends with 3 segments of big browns, the last of which is the 29” female swimming away, not to be bothered for the next 7 months. It certainly augurs well for next season, all very exciting.
And to you Alfred, thanks for putting together the segments into the final videos. Couldn’t have done it without you. And you certainly got into the catching mode with your big browns and that rainbow. Oh, and thanks for getting me out of the mud hole in video E7. I could still be there.
