Yess!! The video that actually helped me!! I actually had the soft scrub in my house and after one coat and 2 hrs in the sun, my Jordan 1s were no longer super yellow!! Thank you for the easy tutorial!
Thank you for this video! I used Bleach and Baking Soda to make a paste and let it sit with cling-wrap wrapped around them like you showed in the video. I repeated this process four times (because mine were suuuper yellow) and they look so much better! I didn't use a specific ratio, but I used more baking soda than I did bleach. I would say the ratio was 2 parts baking soda, 1 part bleach.
I came back just to comment after following your tutorial, because my AF1s were yellow and dirty, followed your tutorial and it worked wonders, my airforces are now white and I can wear them again💃🏻 Thank you🤍
Great vid and thank u for getting right to the point & actually showing a real DIY way with everyday products we already have at home unlike some other shoe tubers who will talk about random crap for 9mins then the last 2mins use some brand name product to un-yellow the shoes and gives u a promo code to get a discount on whatever product they shill for
The Soft Scrub worked the best for my aged air force 1's, i can still tell the difference between my current af1's vs. a very brand new pair, but they are still very white and i am impressed! thanks for this tutorial! took me 3 cleanings and 3 days, 1 per day. (edit) now forward one month later and i do realize that the soles do turn yellow again (could be due to the bleach in Soft Scrub), I am not sure how it is for anyone else, but it seems like this fix isn't a permanent solution but it is still a very good option to whiten those yellow soles! my af1's are still wearable outside with good outfits paired with them, though i am thinking of getting a brand new pair to break in!
After they turn yellow again, can’t we just keep repeating the process we saw in this video to keep making them white again? Or will they go yellow forever after bleaching them a first time?
because bleachh isn't a good option. you should use solan care 40 to whiten the soles. same process, Saran wrap, in the sun, but just salon care 40 instead of bleach. bleach is notoriously famous for turning yellow after exspore to sun. it's has something in how the bleach works, although I'm not a scientist

Ok so the most easy way that I discovered after trying to get rid of the oxidation for like 100 times and failing is to use bleach, I take a plastic bag (make sure it doesn't have any holes in it, I check mines by just pouring water in the bag and if it doesn't leak then it is perfect. Also make sure to see if your shoe fits in the shopper horizontally) and then place the shoes inside of it horizontally then add bleach (not diluted) until the soles aren't submerged and seal the shopper and then just leave the shoes in it for 1-2 hours for best results, ngl your stains will be gone within the ten minutes but keep them in it as long as possible for best results then just take them out wash them amd scrub them thoroughly and wait for them to dry and woila you have new shoes now
Does the undiluted bleach cause yellowing? How did you dry them in the sun or in the house? What was the material that you bleached? I was just wondering please lmk it would help
Because of this method i lost my favourite air force, it was the dearest to my heart, slightly yellow and wanted to make it new i followed what you did step by step and ended up by ruining my favourite shoes. Thanks 😊
Once it becomes oxidized, there’s no way to permanently whiten the rubber. You can bleach them, but in less than a week or so they will turn yellow again.
@@jasonthompson2217 if you use to much bleach that can also cause it to turn yellow people don't realize that bleach is a extremely harsh chemical it not only kills9.999% Bacteria but can eat away and damage all sorts of materials.
