Just watched the video in full. This is the best and most detailed breakdown I’ve ever seen in my life! Well done boxing gems🥊💎 you got something special.
You basically systematically broke down what I could subconsciously see while picturing the fight but couldn’t schematically break it down like you just did. Salute champ!! Ryan makes more mistakes than I thought! This fight probably ends faster than Hector Garcia fight because at least Hector could box
you got no idea what you are talking about hehehe...do you think ryan will be that stupid like hector standing in front of tank? ryan will be using those long solid jabs, quick sraight rights, paralyzing left hook and quick combos to establish range and distance.
Nonono... Just explain to me how Tank gets hit more on average than Ryan ! Make it make sense with all his mistakes you claim Ryan makes and all the right things Tank supposedly does ! ... Is more to this than just good mechanics and footwork... Yes there is fundamentals that repercute more than others but styes does help and what it comes with em ... Some styles give you an advantage over others specifically if they hyper-remarkeble , size and on top of that he fights tall , speedy hands 1s- 2s harder to counter than those of Barrios and Rollie's , yes he doesn't wave and uses straight lines much more and repetitive moves but his counter abilities and good eyes helps him and compensates this side he haven't gain experience on (IN FACT THIS VERY FACT HE BEING WAY TALLER AND FIGHTING MORE TALLER ,HEAD UP, NOT WAVING AS MUCH IS THE VERY SAME THING WILL MAKE HIM TRY TO KEEP TANK AT DISTANCE MORE THAN ANYONE ELSE COZ HE KNOWS THAT POWER IF HE GETS CLOSE LIKE HE LET OTHERS DID, IF YOU KNEW COUNTERS IN KARATE VS SMALLER POWER GUYS YOU WILL KNOW THIS IS NOT A DISADVANTAGE VS A HYPER-STYLE THAT FAVORS YOU SPECIFICALLY IF YOU HAVE TOP COUNTER SKILLS AND POWER TO GET YOU OUT WITH 1 *RYAN DOES HAVE THIS FOOTWORK STYLE OF COUNTERING NOT SHARP YET BUT HE NEED JUST A LITTLE WORK , BUT VS WAY SMALLER GUYS HE CAN GET OUT THE WAY WITH IT , Ryan is only 23 and haven't hit his prime yet HE STILL MASTERING HIS OWN STYLE BY THE FIGHT (one step at the time from bottom up) RYAN HAVES LOTS TO IMPROVE *MARK MY WORDS* HE WOULD BE EVEN BETTER VS TANK _ (he about to lift levels up as he scales up) Tank already hit his prime and haves little to improve , Ryan a better counter than Tank , Ryan does it on the fly as he is a pressure counter fighter , Tank takes more rounds and repetitive movements to counter precisely WITHOUT PAYING THE PRICE (GETTING HIT AS HE ATTEMPTS TO HIT) Tank been in so many closer fights than Ryan and some of them he lost or was losing BEFORE HIS CHIN AND POWER BAILED HIM OUT ... Let's be real not all is mechanical footwork and good rhythm and allusiveness alone ... Tank does move much more and uses more angle changes coz he is often the smallest fighter (he needs to do that more than his opponents if he wants to be effective offensively without getting punishe so much as he attacks -to not get counter) but even playing evasive and defensively HE OFTEN TIMES FAILS TO BE EFFECTIVE WITH IT INSTEAD HE GETS HIT PLENTY MORE TIMES ... RYAN IS NOT BARRIOS , NEITHER ROLLY AND TANK ISN'T FORTUNA NOR CAMPBELL EITHER TO ASSUME HE WOULD LET TANK GET THOSE SAME CHANCES , HE TRUSTED CAMPBELL DIDN'T HAVE THAT POWER ELIMINATOR AND HE DIDN'T.. Also Reynoso was making Ryan stiff and wanted to mechanized him somewhat like Canelos style of fighting power house with good counter attacks deceiving with small gestures your opponents as you attack and wave punches and countering simultaneously standing your ground more ... RYAN IS NOT MADE FOR THAT STYLE HE NATURALLY FIGHTS TALL , HIS BODY MECHANICS AREN'T MADE FOR WHAT REYNOSO WANTED TO MAKE OUT OF HIM , *HE WAS HURTING THE KID AND HIS STYLE* ... WE ALL MEXICANS KNEW HE WAS MESSING UP RYAN MORE THAN HELPING HIM ...
Tank literally if he can't hurt you he would run for dea life , like he did Cruz coz of Cruz's toughness... If Ryan works in little angles and keeping a bit more distance countering simultaneously with diverse counter attacks Tank haves no option but to over reach for Ryan coz he fights tall naturally so he ain't Barrios who would hunch in on Tank ...Tank finding him at will , Ryan also don't bend his knees as much but he also have different mechanics he always counter with his feet smoother like a Karate 🥋 guy adapted to boxing outcomes ... He slicker to react so noup he would not get countered as easy as he did Barrios , Barrios citing down more on his legs less reactive to missing and moving out the way ... Not everything is good mechanics nor strength nor speed nor slickness if you not know what you doing and who what to do and not vs certain fighters that means nothing... Garcia's eyes also way better than Barrios and Tank to not get hit and to counter also again Tank takes way more repetitive patterns to counter effectively and Ryan does it on the fly ... With all his Flaws he gets hit less so noup not all is foot position or what not YES FUNDAMENTALS OVER POWER SOME FLASHY STUFF BUT SOMETIMES IT TAKES SPECIAL IQ TO GO AROUND THAT , is how much you know yourself and how much you understand your opponent also need t everything is fundamentals is how good you apply yourself against your opponent is more of a mental conscientiousness test than literally being just a good artist boxing wise _ it helps building the fundamentals but that ain't all ...takes also Intuition and many more things... We are so complex to know exactly what will win all fights ... We all also make lots of mistakes and our own minds also defeats us at times IN FACT TANK HAD SOME TROUBLE LETTING HIS NERVES FREE HIS LAST 2 FIGHTS vs ROLLIE AND HECTOR ... I think if he feel Ryan's presence he would crumble so much in the inside even if Ryan is the one that supposed to be like that I think Tank is the one who would be stuck emotionally and Ryan would over shine the spotlights the boy is confidence we got to admit that TANK TO EMOTIONAL... he would have to move way more also to go in on Ryan coming in so he won't get countered and also coming out when he is not effective with his attacks to not get counter also coming out as he fighting his longer tallest opponent yet and the FASTEST, THE MOST POWERFUL YET , WITH HIS UNIQUE STYLE ,WHICH APPLIED PERFECTLY WOULD BE TIRING FOR TANK TO COVER MUCH MORE DISTANCE, ALSO TANK NEVER BEEN VS A GUY WITH THE COUNTER ABILITIES THAT RYAN HAVES , FINALLY HE FACING A GUY WITH SAME POWER , A BIT FASTER , HIS TALLER OPPONENT AND WHO HAVES BETTER COUNTER ABILITIES THAN HIM ... Yes he haves flaws but vs Tank Ryan would be extra clever and sharp coz he knows it and like I said Ryan can still improve way more than Tank he haven't mastered his style yet Tank has , Ryan is not in his prime yet Tank haves ... Ryan is not in his prime , physically, mentally rin IQ , mentally age wise , skill wise etc etc ... y'all are up for a choking reality check ... *NOT SAYING RYAN WINS BUT IT IS A 50)50 FIGHT , CLOSER THAN PEOPLE REALIZE* Tank haves good mechanics and all that but what happens when Ryan makes those little changes which he can if he wants to and he will _ all that Tank does means nothing if he can't close the gap effectively HE ALSO HAVES TO VE CAREFUL AT ALL TIMES COZ HE CAN GET HURT AT ANY PUNCH _ TANK HAVES TO EXTRA MOVE IN THIS FIGHT HOPE HE DOESN'T GET TIRED IN 6 COZ HE USUALLY SHINES AFTER THE 6-7 ROUND ... NOT IF HE GETS TIRED THO VS RYAN ,
Pause the video at 4:47.. If Ryan gets caught in that recovering, off balance stance, he's gonna get slept by a quick counter. Straight backhand from Tank.
Amazingly concise, accurate, and clear explanations, combined with a slew of perfectly chosen clips to illustrate your points perfectly. You avoid too much jargon while still communicating the high level concepts. Seriously great work.
Very good breakdown. Got to think Ryan is not ready for this one. Tank is well seasoned, calm in the ring, with a high ring IQ. Ryan has the size advantage, and that beautiful hook, but I don't think that will be enough.
I got tank. I can’t add anything to your analysis. Ryan is a 10/10 in speed in both single and combo punching. Tank is a 10/10 in every category but his patience is what is so impressive to me. He had Romero thinking he was way ahead and he threw caution to the wind. Tank MADE him do that though with patience and psychology. Tank is a much more cerebral and nuanced fighter than almost anyone. Rolly won those rounds but tank was just playing with his food. I would suggest any amateur or even professional prospect paying for this dude’s patreon. He knows boxing well
I agree Tanks got a lot more going for him going into this fight and is my odds on favourite. The danger from Garcia is real though and falling behind on the scorecards even while momentum is strong is a gamble that Tank can’t risk. Garcia has that type of speed and power that can easily generate a flash knockdown or two which could make it very difficult on the scorecards if it goes the distance.
Great analysis as usual. Ryan's style primarily relies on his physical gifts (speed and power). He just hasn't developed some of the more subtle nuances and skills of the sport. Tank has developed those skills and continues to improve. That, in my opinion will be the determining factor in this fight. I give Ryan a puncher's chance, but the more likely outcome (as you said) is Tank by late round KO.
Great breakdown! In the end this it's gonna come down to footwork and although Ryan has gotten better in a open stance fight he still relies on linear movement too much. Now Ryan can still have have some success due to his fast hand speed but Tank is quite crafty and finds multiple ways to land his rear hand and the longer the fight goes Tanks gonna download that data and its a wrap, Tank by KO.
@@BoxingGems my challenge to you is to try making a similar video from a different vantage point. This video could easily be titled “why Ryan is likely to lose….and what Ryan has o use to have a chance at winning.”’ Show us your boxing Acumen by flipping it. This was a long Ryan Garcia video. We know that stuff already.
Absolute Gold bro!! Got my ass hiding behind a line at the gig glued to my damn phone. Someone's going nite nite that night for sure. As much as I like Ryan got Tank on this one. Definitely the smarter fighter out of the two. Fucking GEM bro
I see Tank stretching Ryan out somewhere in the middle rounds after he’s timed his lunging straight ahead style and gauged the strength of his opponent’s punches. To me, Garcia’s slow awkward footwork leaves him vulnerable to fighters with smoother, faster, more dance like footwork that complements the upper body mechanics that mesh seamlessly in great fighters. I think that the combination of qualities Tank displays in the ring gives Garcia no chance in this fight. No chance without even mentioning the intangibles that Davis displays and that Garcia can’t even imagine, -yet.
Salute, Great presentation! As a football or baseball coach it's unprofessional to critique another coach's methods or game plan, however, boxing is a sport that can cause irreparable harm, therefore, it is always good to point out methods or techniques that can lead to mistakes. Outside of conditioning, footwork is the most critical aspect to teaching or learning the sweet science of Pugilism.
All as it takes is for Ryan to get sloppy with foot positioning, lunging in leaving his head on the line of fire and it’s over tank only needs a half a punch and we clearly seen that
Oh man. Ryan is gonna get knocked out in the worst way. Skipping a tune up/stay busy fight in January? Turning down the opportunity for another fight with his new trainer Joe Goossen? Plus, the film study? Knock out of the year for 2023 is happening in April!
I like this channel but the "film study" also predicted Marshall to beat Shields and that was an ass beating by Shields. Footage isn't gospel and doesn't always tell the 100% truth as far as predictions. Lol 🤷♂️
I called Marshall/Shields 50/50 partially based on the possibility of a Marshall KO. I said if you forced me, I’d pick Marshall due to the ko possibility and the location of the fight. I won money on that fight by the way. Film study doesn’t cover everything it takes to win a fight. It never will.
yeah it's going to be a smelling sauce knockout, boy unconscious on the ground and they gonna need to wake him up kind of knockout, seriously. Everything about Garcia's defensive style (or lack thereof) will make his face a catcher's mitt for Tank's biggest shots, and the dude also has no chin. Garcia has a buffalo's chance against lions, he's just not built to win against a fighter like Tank, but the buffalo can always get lucky of course, anything could happen.
Didn't notice Ryan's lack of lateral footwork, nice catch. Ryan with that inside foot when fighting southpaws will come back to haunt him. That's one of the first things you learn before sparring or at least should have been. Great video, spot on!
You didn't notice Ryan has some of the worst footwork in the business. Just look at his feet, boy moves like a baby giraffe (to copy another RUclipsr's comment lol).
This is the best channel on RUclips for boxing. The accurate breakdowns and science behind it is on point. I feel every film study done should be a blueprint for even the fighters to watch and improve. Great video!!!!
Interesting fight. I think its down to who lands the first telling punch - and that'll be Tank. I like both fighters, they are both good for the game so I wish them both well in that regard. Tough division though - OOOF!
@@SCHEDULINGINVOICING-cr1rd Ryan far closer to an Amir Khan than a Roy Jones. Roy Jones was a freak of nature and I argue that he had more fundamentals than Garcia does now whether he chose to use them or not
Outstanding analysis, one of the best I've seen for any matchup, and by far the best analysis of these two in particular. It'll be a great bout, with the potential of Aaron Pryor vs Antonio Cervantes or Alexis Arguello. Tank has all the tools and skills, but his only real weakness is sometimes he seems to slack off and let minutes or entire rounds slide by. I might have given Garcia a better shot before watching this video, but you've nailed some flaws that I overlooked. The pressure is on him to up his game before getting into the ring with Davis.
I just found your channel from this video. I love it! Very intellectual and intelligent breakdown of each fighter that I have to agree with. I think Ryan’s punchers chance is a little better than most but you nailed it! Someone hurry and get Ryan a footwork coach!! 😂
How in the help did I just bow get this channel in my feed? RUclips wake up! Everything is more fun when you’re invested in it. This guy definitely makes boxing more fun to watch.
Fantastic video, every time I thought I could add something in a comment, you addressed it immediately. There is one way Ryan wins, Tank lets him bank too many rounds early getting reads and he manages to avoid a knockout.
At around the 1:30 mark, speaking on tank using lateral movement to set traps, you circled Cruz’s backfoot to show his broken base/stance. What was broken about his stance? Was it that tank caught him coming off the back foot? And follow up, how do you avoid breaking your stance in that way if you’re walking your opp down?
My friend. You have done a better job at breaking this or any battle down that I have ever seen. No bs. No colloquialisms. Pure unadulterated analysis. You should be proud of your contribution in this space. No bs. Cheers
Tank for sure. boxing IQ and Garcia's bad habits is whats going to win this. Garcia is still in the infancy of his boxing knowledge. He'll be Canelo status in 5 years or less
At 6:35 you can see Ryan pulling the left shoulder back while pivoting off the rear foot to create more tourque in the straight punch similar to how a pitchers throws a ball. It’s a conscious decision. Smart not imo but by design yes. At 6:40 he drops the lead hand when he realized the lead straight was a bad decision and saw the counter coming and unconsciously dropped the left you can see him hold it near his chest with no real purpose as opposed to it being loaded of the 2 for a follow up jab. At 7:36 tank does his signature dip before trowing his own 2 and watch his lead hand literally aimed down with no purpose again an unconscious action. 60-40 fight in favor of tank but to say it’s just a home run left hook for Ryan is disrespectful. But your channel your opinion.
Dude Boxing Gems, this is some 'other' stuff. Incredible. I know a lot about boxing but I always learn something watching your videos. One of the secrets to life is to not get defensive because someone knows something you don't. (It might be the #1 thing in fact.) You know things I don't and I'm happy to add to my knowledge base with this outstanding content.
What up Gems!?!?! Been a while. I haven't been on one of your lives in a while. But I am always watching your content. I definitely had this fight down to movement and footwork, but this highly scrutinized look is amazing. THANK YOU once again. Love seeing your success from one of your OG fans.
nice breakdown!!! good bet advise ...in the end doesn't matter who wins we all know its gone be a great moment to see them both in the ring face to face ,finaly...i just hope its gone be a ko that night and no draw or discualification, dokter say fight is over..i hope every thing goes well like a pro fighter giving up a good performence for the fans!!!
would you say that tank is more effective with the active high guard or the half guard/philly shell? If there is one where he is more effective in, would he be using the other guard just to mix up his defense?
D*** bro great job. 1st time I've watched you analyze the styles of 2 competing boxers. You did a phenomenal job using all the tools you had to explain different styles strengths and weaknesses of both fighters in a way that people that aren't familiar with boxing can easily understand. Keep up the great work look forward to next video. By the way I'm a new subscriber
Had to revisit this after the fight. Beautiful and spot on breakdown and analysis. Greatjob on the small animations btw that demonstrate key concepts you are talking about. Simple, not distracting, but clearly highlights what needs to be highlighted. Fantastic match by two brave warriors.
What I find so interesting is that Tanks amateur record is 206-15 Ryan’s amateur record is 215-15 Tanks pro record 28-0 26 ko Ryan’s is 23-0 19 ko Almost similar records pro and amateur records but how is it Tank surpassed Ryan slightly in fundamentals, skills and ring IQ?
@@BoxingGems I agree 💯 But do you think Ryan has enough time to correct these things by April and how much is attributed to genetics and athleticism on Tanks part?
Thank you brother. Man I can't wait. Im expecting a really good fight. Some of what RG does wrong, people seem to forget he corrected in his last fight. Against LC he corrected lead foot positioning later in the fight. His natural gifts aside, he is better than given credit and he has shown improvement no one wants to recognize. I expect additional improvements from RG this fight. What he won't improve is his show-nuff, guarantee, repeatable, straight back retreat. At his height and weight class that has been his go to escape - a place of safety for him. That will be there for Tank as RG sees it as a position of saftey - it won't be. Tank's leaping hook while RG exits straight back, lead hand extended, back hand low, chin high. Everyone will be looking for RG hook to Tank's body - so too will Tank. Great fight for boxing!
Hi master, you basically foresaw (because of the first explanation) the KO that happened in round 2 and all the errors and coincidences that happen in the fight. Genius !!!
really love your breakdowns, the fact you at least present as unbiased, and your attachment of everything to betting and where u would put your money. im sure there will be haters along the way, dont sweat them. remember the overwhelming majority of comments are positive
Whole fight is based on who gets better foot position. Someone is gonna connect heavy - once buzzed, it gets tough to stick to the game plan... and the problems cascade until KO...
I got Tank in a knock out, the one thing i don't ever hear people say about Ryan is that he can box,all you hear is he's quick and have a left hook which i think is overrated.
Udk boxing then, he was a 15 time national champion with vry underrated boxing skills outboxing Haney n Vergil in the amateurs n Luke Campbell a gold medalist?
@@Gurnierr - That's with head gear, big gloves, 3 rounds, large ring, teens vs teens. Pro boxing is grown men vs grown men, 12 rounds, smaller gloves, higher skill Levels, higher IQ Levels. Amateur National champion is NOT Professional World Champion. Ryan has never won a World Championship. Ijs.

What a great breakdown. Easy to follow for a casual fan like me. Liked!
🙏🏾
Great analysis. 5:52 is why I’ll pick tank to win. Tank will exploit that
🙏🏾
Yes teecha Gems. I had to go thru this breakdown with my note pad. Starting to look more on sided than I initially thought. Bless up Gems.
💪🏾🙏🏾
Didn't notice Ryan's lack of lateral footwork, nice catch. Ryan with that inside foot when fighting southpaws will come back to haunt him. That's one of the first things you learn before sparring or at least should have been. Great video, spot on!
🙏🏾
You didn't notice Ryan has some of the worst footwork in the business. Just look at his feet, boy moves like a baby giraffe (to copy another RUclipsr's comment lol).
This is the best channel on RUclips for boxing. The accurate breakdowns and science behind it is on point. I feel every film study done should be a blueprint for even the fighters to watch and improve. Great video!!!!
🙏🏾 Truly appreciated fam
It's on like boiled 🌽!! Thanks 💎 Lampley!🥊🔥
Yessir! 💪🏾
The most phenomenal thing about this channel, is how he managed to catch
Tim Bradley actually telling the truth for once
!!!!😂
Bradley surely calls fights badly!
🤣🤣🤣
@@leonardcharles59 predicts well but don't let that suit your agenda
Tim is Right more than he's wrong
I feel like the fight will be over in 4-5 rounds tank has elite timing and is one of the best counterpunchers
this about to blow up gems
🔥💪🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
Interesting fight. I think its down to who lands the first telling punch - and that'll be Tank. I like both fighters, they are both good for the game so I wish them both well in that regard. Tough division though - OOOF!
I think Ryan has easily skated through his career thus far because of his natural ability and speed. It's caused him to ignore the fundamentals
Same thing was said about Roy Jones Jr during his run
@@SCHEDULINGINVOICING-cr1rd Ryan far closer to an Amir Khan than a Roy Jones. Roy Jones was a freak of nature and I argue that he had more fundamentals than Garcia does now whether he chose to use them or not
When do you get the Top Rank Analyst Contract? ....Ryan you are the best analyst on RUclips.....I think Wilder needs to hire you.
😂🙏🏾💪🏾
Have been really gettin into the art of boxing and this type of video is EXACTLY what I have been looking for.
🙏🏾
Outstanding analysis, one of the best I've seen for any matchup, and by far the best analysis of these two in particular. It'll be a great bout, with the potential of Aaron Pryor vs Antonio Cervantes or Alexis Arguello. Tank has all the tools and skills, but his only real weakness is sometimes he seems to slack off and let minutes or entire rounds slide by. I might have given Garcia a better shot before watching this video, but you've nailed some flaws that I overlooked. The pressure is on him to up his game before getting into the ring with Davis.
🙏🏾
Man you need your own show bro!!!🔥🔥🔥
🙏🏾
thank you for explaining the sweet science!
🙏🏾 Thanks for being interested
I just found your channel from this video. I love it! Very intellectual and intelligent breakdown of each fighter that I have to agree with. I think Ryan’s punchers chance is a little better than most but you nailed it! Someone hurry and get Ryan a footwork coach!! 😂
🙏🏾
Hopefully this one stay up man
🙏🏾
How in the help did I just bow get this channel in my feed? RUclips wake up! Everything is more fun when you’re invested in it. This guy definitely makes boxing more fun to watch.
🙏🏾 Much appreciated fam
sidenote i have worked w/high level mma fighters and alot o ammy boxers; so i can process the game, you do amazing work
🙏🏾 Thanks fam
Fantastic video, every time I thought I could add something in a comment, you addressed it immediately. There is one way Ryan wins, Tank lets him bank too many rounds early getting reads and he manages to avoid a knockout.
🙏🏾
You really intelligent with it, sounds like you could become a killer coach 💯
🙏🏾
Superb video. 👍🇬🇧💥🥊
This why you the 🐐 I’m forever a member to your channel
🙏🏾 Thanks for the support fam
So much game being spilled here… Gracias..
🙏🏾
At around the 1:30 mark, speaking on tank using lateral movement to set traps, you circled Cruz’s backfoot to show his broken base/stance. What was broken about his stance? Was it that tank caught him coming off the back foot? And follow up, how do you avoid breaking your stance in that way if you’re walking your opp down?
His back foot was in the air. I know that was tough to see.
Proper footwork, small steps.
My friend. You have done a better job at breaking this or any battle down that I have ever seen. No bs. No colloquialisms. Pure unadulterated analysis. You should be proud of your contribution in this space. No bs. Cheers
🙏🏾 Truly appreciated
Gems??
This is diamond boxing 🥊
Real channel
The break downs are something nobody else is doing 🇬🇧🥊🏆👊
🙏🏾
Styles makes fights and their styles are definitely fit for an interesting fight, plus, th trash talk. This should be epic for sure.
Tank for sure. boxing IQ and Garcia's bad habits is whats going to win this. Garcia is still in the infancy of his boxing knowledge. He'll be Canelo status in 5 years or less
Excellent break down of these two amazing young fighters.
Thank You…
🙏🏾
So when people talk about “fighting on the inside/outside” are they talking about the foot positioning you explained in this video?
No they are usually talking about distance
@@BoxingGems ahh got it. Appreciate the response
Needless to say, I just subscribed… Great content 👌🏽
🙏🏾
Great analysis. Subscribed! Stu from Gold Coast, Australia. You and Showbizz got it all covered...
🙏🏾
(It might be the #1 thing in fact.)
You know things I don't and I'm happy to add to my knowledge base with this outstanding content.
🙏🏾 Much appreciated fam
Another great video. I must say this, Brother, knows what he's talking about. Two 👍🏿 👍🏿 up.
🙏🏾
Yeah you right I'm not skipping school today lol love your videos
🙏🏾😂
What up Gems!?!?! Been a while. I haven't been on one of your lives in a while. But I am always watching your content. I definitely had this fight down to movement and footwork, but this highly scrutinized look is amazing. THANK YOU once again. Love seeing your success from one of your OG fans.
🙏🏾 Much love fam
Glad to see this was approved
🙌🏾
Excellent brake down bro as always 🥊💯.
I see the same either Tank knocks him out or Ryan lands a big body shot that drops Tank .
🙏🏾
as always, another banger video
Thanks fam
nice breakdown!!! good bet advise ...in the end doesn't matter who wins we all know its gone be a great moment to see them both in the ring face to face ,finaly...i just hope its gone be a ko that night and no draw or discualification, dokter say fight is over..i hope every thing goes well like a pro fighter giving up a good performence for the fans!!!
🙏🏾
My Guy, Call you boxing sensation or boxing master! The 🥊 Don, sensei ✊🏿
🙏🏾💪🏾
would you say that tank is more effective with the active high guard or the half guard/philly shell? If there is one where he is more effective in, would he be using the other guard just to mix up his defense?
He always uses multiple guards depending on the situation
It's the best boxing channel by far.
🙏🏾 Much love fam
D*** bro great job. 1st time I've watched you analyze the styles of 2 competing boxers. You did a phenomenal job using all the tools you had to explain different styles strengths and weaknesses of both fighters in a way that people that aren't familiar with boxing can easily understand. Keep up the great work look forward to next video. By the way I'm a new subscriber
🙏🏾
Had to revisit this after the fight. Beautiful and spot on breakdown and analysis. Greatjob on the small animations btw that demonstrate key concepts you are talking about. Simple, not distracting, but clearly highlights what needs to be highlighted. Fantastic match by two brave warriors.
🙏🏾 Thanks fam
Briliant anaysis. Big Appriciation and respect from the UK 🥊💎
🙏🏾 Thanks fam
What I find so interesting is that Tanks amateur record is 206-15
Ryan’s amateur record is 215-15
Tanks pro record 28-0 26 ko
Ryan’s is 23-0 19 ko
Almost similar records pro and amateur records but how is it Tank surpassed Ryan slightly in fundamentals, skills and ring IQ?
coaching is big
@@BoxingGems
I agree 💯
But do you think Ryan has enough time to correct these things by April and how much is attributed to genetics and athleticism on Tanks part?
😂 Probably not
Because tank has like 5 years of experience on him.
💪🏾 Good assessment
Bro you're dope and your fight analysis' are second to none.
🙏🏾 Much appreciated fam
Hi master, you basically foresaw (because of the first explanation) the KO that happened in round 2 and all the errors and coincidences that happen in the fight. Genius !!!
🙏🏾
This channel does the absolute best and accurate breakdowns great stuff.
🙏🏾
Yo Gems! Thats was up baby! Keep feedin em knowledge!
🙏🏾
i regularly post your clips on my social media, you do high level, nuanced and conceptually sound breakdowns...this is top tier
🙏🏾 Thanks for sharing fam
really love your breakdowns, the fact you at least present as unbiased, and your attachment of everything to betting and where u would put your money. im sure there will be haters along the way, dont sweat them. remember the overwhelming majority of comments are positive
🙏🏾
Glad to see you're able to get this back up Gems 🔥
🙏🏾💪🏾
Whole fight is based on who gets better foot position. Someone is gonna connect heavy - once buzzed, it gets tough to stick to the game plan... and the problems cascade until KO...
Boxing gems on another level with the film studies, nobody else talking about kidney placement importance smh
😂💯🙏🏾
I have to agree.
Been waiting on this, been looking at Ryan last few fights and been taking notes of flaws and strengths
💪🏾
Just Ryan... not Davis? How's that make sense
It got approved?
YESSIR
YOURE A GENIUS
🙏🏾 I just love the game fam. I appreciate it
Hope this blows up
🙌🏾
I’ve always wanted a breakdown like these. Great video. I got tank.
🙏🏾
Phenomenal job on the breakdown homie I would have loved to hear more on tank tho
🙏🏾 Look through the archives fam. Plenty more on Tank. Tank/Loma, Tank/Hector Garcia,…
@@BoxingGems awesome!!!!
I got Tank but i wanna see being able to take clean shots..Meaning i wanna see him face adversity in the fight
Well it seems like you have not see. All of tank fights he can take a punch trustee
Are u a trainer and we're do u train fighters
Not yet
Greatest breakdown of this fight thus far. How you only got 28k subs? idk
Keep it up bro, you doing gods work
🙏🏾 Much appreciated fam
I got Tank in a knock out, the one thing i don't ever hear people say about Ryan is that he can box,all you hear is he's quick and have a left hook which i think is overrated.
Udk boxing then, he was a 15 time national champion with vry underrated boxing skills outboxing Haney n Vergil in the amateurs n Luke Campbell a gold medalist?
@@Gurnierr - That's with head gear, big gloves, 3 rounds, large ring, teens vs teens. Pro boxing is grown men vs grown men, 12 rounds,
smaller gloves, higher skill Levels, higher IQ Levels. Amateur National champion is NOT Professional World Champion. Ryan has never won
a World Championship. Ijs.
It's a very high level move I don't expect to see many pull off and be able to do
Very impressive analysis! It's clear a lot of work went into this. Thanks for posting it!
🙏🏾
Good work 💎
🙏🏾 Thanks Josh
Who taught you the game Gems? You really know the science 👏🏾
Local coaches/fighters, internet coaches/fighters, a lot of film study.
Bro your analysis is amazing! Have no negative critiques, and that’s rare lol. My name says it all. Well done bro! Can’t wait to see more
