The cheapest way to play this game: - pay $18 dollars to play the game and vow to cancel in 1 month - forget to cancel and end up spending $200 after months of going "dammit, I forgot again" Maybe the best decision would be not to play it. It's ok to miss out on certain things, nothing bad is gonna happen to you if you ignore this.
Bold of you to assume I'll be playing this. We have Stellar Blade, Black Myth WuKong and Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree to look forward to, brothers and sisters 😎
I think they should have a male or female main characters and you can customize them but that’s probably too much to ask for or they probably charge for outfits
What lesson? They still get their millions of dollars from gamers. Apart from Skull and Bones, Ubisoft hasn't learned anything because we as gamers haven't taught them anything.
It's Ubisoft, 95% of the game will be clearing out outlaw camps that their game engine copy & pasted ad infinitum all over the map with markers telling you where to go. Gamer: I thought I was the outlaw. Ubisoft: Umm, sure.
Can't wait to do the "clear out base and raise flag pole" type of mission 3 million times while having a boring slog of a grind for XP and equipment that makes me unable to do story missions unless i chuck out 300 dollars per level upgrade and 200 dollars for new gear and weapons and every story mission has a 10 level gap between each other. Also i'm betting that these "outlaws" are just gonna be loving rascals with strong code of honor and hating the Galactic Empire for being an oppressive regime because neither Disney nor Ubisoft have any balls to depict the "outlaws" in any believable manner or have any grey conflict because got forbid we have a story that doesn't revolve around excessive nostalgia for the original trilogy. Seriously can't we at least have a nostalgic story based on the Legends continuity in some capacity?
The fact that people rolled over and started paying $70 for games by companies that have been releasing flop after flop after flop after flop is absolutely insane to me. So glad indie games are a thing.
I haven't paid full price for a game in years. A few years after launch when the game is patched and costs less than half the price? Maybe, but I won't drop $70 to test a beta.
Because some of these people who spend that much over and over they basically oldies like in their mid 30s almost 40s or 40s basically dads/mothers who barely have any time for games that they basically just play a 10min-20min on rare cases maybe 40min but stop playing barely done anything important in the game and then log off and play next week or the 2weeks after and basically don't pay much attention how hideous the game is due to barely anytime was put into the game in order for you to notice it and then they see one scenery that is not even that eye catching and they like "wow look at those graphics" then shut off their consoles....
I agree. I already REFUSE to buy at the $70 price point. I wish more would do that. The only reason these companies have the audacity to charge that much is that PEOPLE PAY FOR IT. People need to have self control.
I'm so gutted by this. This could've been Disney's chance to resurrect Star Wars 1313 something Star Wars fans have longed for. Instead of giving us our mature, Boba Fett game navigating the underworld we get this? The current incarnation of Lucasfilm is either unwilling or incapable of giving us what we obviously desire. They don't deserve our money.
Kathleen Kennedy many times said she wanted to replace all legacy characters with her own female new cast. She want less Boba or Luke and more generic girl bosses. Disney is dead and Jon Favreau will not change it.
It's honestly fucking fascinating. Mind-boggling. I'm not even a real Star Wars fan, and I stand in AWE of Disney LucasFilm's ineptability. Hundreds of MILLIONS of fans telling them for years: This and this and this is what we want and hoo boy the money we will pay for it! And they are like: No no no, you silly billies. THIS is what you want. And even as the franchise is bleeding money, they won't listen a dime's worth. It's honestly a feat.

$130 dollars for a story about Ma'am Solo, fighting horrible, awful males all across the galaxy with her square jaw, female friends, and lame comedy. Basically, it's a Disney Plus show, where you get to defeat the "Space Patriarchy".
To be fair Star Wars has copied Han Solo several times and it predates Disney so that just kind of makes it look like your problem is that it's a woman this time to anyone that would assume that you're enough of a fan to know better. Not saying that was your intent just saying how it looks. Dash Rendar and Kyle Katarn started as "we have Han Solo at home". The Outrider is just a shitty version of the Millennium Falcon and it always has been. Now granted sometimes characters in Star Wars start out as essentially clones of other characters before becoming more fleshed out but it doesn't change their origins.
So many characters look like bad fortnite skins... And the animations look so stiff and clunky. I cannot tell if this is a deliberate design choice or just bad...
Huh? Tons of singleplayer games have season passes. It’s for expansions / DLC. Do you mean a battle pass? Cause yes single player games don’t need battle passes. However I don’t think this has a battle pass

I just don't understand why they can't just give us a single-player open-world Star Wars RPG that gives the player freedom to create their own Character and have multiple-branching class systems (Force User, Mandalorian/Commando, Brawler Echani/Teras Kashi, or Stealth Smuggler/Bounty Hunter). Hell, even add in Co-Op for 4 players similar to Borderlands, Payday 2, and Helldivers 2, while the setting is on the Outer Rim during an early galactic empire versus the proto-rebel. Have several planets for contention between the factions, and add a tremendous amount of story quests alongside branching narratives.

Also don't forget about the protag's nonstop quips and WHY WON'T YOU SHUT UP AND LET ME DO THE PUZZLES MY OWN!

Hopefully, enough people will skip this one to either put Ubisoft out of business or make it clear that pricing models like this should be abandoned.
I agree. I already REFUSE to buy at the $70 price point. I wish more would do that. The only reason these companies have the audacity to charge that much is that PEOPLE PAY FOR IT.
People need to have self control.
There are always tonnes of normies that buy these games regardless. If you know one of these people, please help them.
Ubisoft and Lucasfilm both. 2 birds with 1 stone.
They don't deserve our money.
it's Disney as a whole. not just lucas its DISNEY. There is a big reason why they lost a Billion dollars in the box office last year lol.
Yeah but why do that when you can drip feed generic corpo slop and still make millions?

Hum? Normalise? If base game was 60$ and got raise to 70$ due higer production, paying devs a living wage and make mass profitcost, then all the editions would be pump up to 10$
Too- COD did it, nba 2k did it, all AAA games are basing on 70$, soo its just the new normal. Everything got raise by 10$ thats it. Plus dont cry about atleast we still have 40%-80% sales going on, unlike nintendo-…
Also ps- the “full” expirence is only up too the “gold” edition with the dlc, beyond that is just cosmetics and small unimportant stuff
I was able to buy it for $58 from Green Man Gaming with my gold account and a voucher. I'll buy dlc after it's all released and only if it's worth it. Aint no way I'm paying ubi anything over $60!
@@MaxRamos8 i just buy it when is 60% off XD
"LOOK IT'S A DOG BUT ITS AN AXLOTL BUY PRODUCT" -soulless corporation trying to appeal to human beings
All of the characters have mass effect Andromeda face. Rubbery and expressionless
"Early access" is actually a way for publishers to circumvent the street date by making you pay more for the "actual release date."
It's scummy, but it's free money because the majority of customers are uninformed. It just works.
They hit their quota on an unfinished game. Win win really.
They don't really have an incentive to finish it.
Also to see if the game is profitable enough to continue without going completely to the budget
Dont forget selling an unfinished product while hiding behind early acess so nobody can sue the. for hawking shit goods

>Be EA
>Announce MMO
>tfw pre-order money comes in
>game not even finished
>release anyway, we'll update later
>players hate it more than expected
>players want us to fix everything
>lol no, take game offline
>game becomes a meme
>tfw we didn't get no repercussions
>is this free money?
We all remember how watch dogs looked like at e3 and on launch day 😂 😂😂😂
Same for Cyberpunk... companies never learn from any mistakes, even big ones made by someone else
Why do the explosions look like after effects plug-ins. FOR 70$
Dark Crystal, the main character looks like she's from Dark Crystal.
Yeah, the Chamberlain.
Yeah, after the girl boss movies everyone wanted a girl boss video game
This is exactly what fans wanted from Star Wars. How does Disney & Ubisoft keep getting it so right?
It’s a girl brand now.
yep
This game is DOA.
Should be outlawed.
@@Bear-form that's funny
Absolute nonsense comment. If you really think the biggest budget Star Wars game ever is DOA you're deluded. It will be a huge success.
Huge opportunity missed for a hansolo game instead we get some random girl to play as pass on it also wouldn't let me comment on first page
@@RayzaNCAnd you're deluded if you think huge budget = good game.
It's bizarre that you hire an attractive model and then put an ugly digital version in the game. What is wrong with having a preference to look at someone who is attractive or beautiful?
That's right, pre-ordering a game used to get you a discount. I remember back when Fallout 4 came out, I got like 15-20$ off the launch price by pre-ordering a few days before release
Main character is Matt Damon from Team America or any of the puppets! Uncanny Valley was just demonstrated in full force.
Darthhhhhh Vadddderrrr
“I got a bad feeling about this” said everyone who saw the graphics to this.
Those graphics are bad?!?!
looks good to me
@@jadedheartszFor game that came out in 2014
"Captured in Engine. Not all Images appear in game" This has sudden The Division 1 vibes.
Damn, that face of her would fit nicely in "Team America".
Ubisoft's promising the galaxy but delivering an unfinished Death Star, and at $130, it feels more like paying for the Empire's budget than a game.
The game is $70. Calm down.
@citizen3000. You're right. The base game, "only" costs $70. The base game includes: a protagonist with prosthetic legs, baby's first pea shooter, a starter ship that is a leaky cardboard box with thrusters attached. A missing pause menu for the jukebox that plays "March of the Ewoks" non stop, A campaign featuring Ms. Piggy as the protagonist, and 150+ GB download size for the game.
I think you'll find the game is FULLY OPERATIONAL
Its such a scummy practice that signing up for subscriptions turns on auto-renewal automatically, and on top of that they make it so fucking hard to cancel it.
