- Traveling India: Come explore Udaipur, the City of Lakes in Rajasthan. We spent several days here, enjoying views of the lake and city from the many rooftop restaurants. Walking the streets can be a noisy, sometimes dangerous experience as the streets are narrow, they drive crazy, honk constantly and aren't mindful of pedestrians. But it was all worth it after discovering the best apple pie ever at Cafe Namaste. Next up, Jodhpur, the blue city!
xoxo,
Christine
You and Michael are giving my 12 year old son and I a gift--we love watching your travel videos together. Thank you so much for sharing, Christine! India is so beautiful but I feel so sad for the hardships of the people--we are so blessed.
WOW !!!!!!!!!!!! HOW BEAUTIFUL
Breathtaking. Thank you so much for sharing. This is my favorite of your trip videos so far!
This takes me back when i visited the palace in 2007!! I loved it and even visited a traditional puppet show there that was amazing :)
I love when a new video is up. I really enjoy seeing different cultures, and spending a bit of time watching your travels.
Why are people losing sight of the fact that Christine and Michael are budget travellers? From the onset of this trip they made it clear that they were not going to be following the usual tourist trail, but wanted to explore these countries on their own and in their own way. Hence the reason why they are staying at guesthouses and small hotels. Most people with imagination and experience of travel will know that luxurious hotels exists in virtually all countries on the globe, if preferred.
I can't begin to tell you how much I look forward to each and every one of your videos. Even your choice of music throughout this series has been spot on. Thanks for sharing your journey with all of us!!!!!
As always thank you for sharing your adventure w/ us. I love watching all these videos of your trip!
I can't tell you how much I love these videos. I know nothing beats being there in person, but it feels a little bit like it - without the humidity, heat and smells, of course. But I appreciate the opportunity to be a deskchair (instead of armchair) traveler. Thanks Christine!
Yeah ! For an Udaipurite, it's a pleasure to hear such awesome reviews about my city ! Do come here once again !
Another beautiful video. I so enjoyed the street musician. Thank you!

So well done Christine. (I mean, the video... is so nicely edited!)
Loving these travel videos Christine and Michael! I can't imagine how difficult/irritating it must get at times trying to find WiFi and then maintaining patience with how long they take to upload. As well as factoring in the effort you also place into all the editing - thank you so much. :) x
Thank you for taking me on vacation with you. I needed
one this summer. Have fun and stay safe. :)
I have been to many parts of Asia, the US, Europe and India. India is different in a way that when you return back to your country, you feel that you've had a spiritual experience...in a way..it's uplifting and you learn not to take life and things around you for granted anymore. I love India...in a very special way.
I AM FROM USA, AND IT WAS MY PLEASURE TO VISIT INDIA AND SPECIALLY UDAIPUR. HEAVEN ON THE EARTH
harsh baniya Your name suggests that you are an Indian, but you must not call yourself Indian if you are ashamed of it.
Shalini Jain What the heck? i have born in usa so i am american, india was one time teacher of world, every human being have connection with india that is a reason were we all are because of india, And u should know india is cradle of all "CIVILIZATION" WRITTEN BY PROUD AMERICAN.
harsh baniya is an Indian name, but I know people are more fascinated about American life, so they tend to forget their origin and the place where they actually hail from! Just to remind you about your incorrect english, your english is full of flaws. You better check your diction. Now, I am assured that you can't be an Indian because I know the educated Indians possess great dexterity in english unlike you. Take care
Guys, do you think this indian named guy, who speaks shitty english and claims to be a US citizen is truthful?! LMAO.
It's not "shitty" it's "Shit'y" pls improve your grammer Shalini Jain
I have been to India 4 times and it's an amazing place!
I loved the music that guy was playing...such a cool instrument!
Thank you once again for another great experience. Anxiously awaiting for the next...
:0)
Christine and Michael, thanks so much for your travel narrative and video's. It's nice to hear and see from an 'average' persons' point of view how a city comes across. No need to sell your viewers on only the beautiful aspects but everything it has to offer. I find you are being honest and kind, just telling it like it is. Nothing wrong with that. Safe travels. Blessings.
Thanks for sharing your travels! Really enjoy watching

Did you stay healthy during your travels? I would be concerned with fresh fruit that I didn't peel myself. I liked your video. It's sincere and from the heart. I'll be traveling by bicycle from New Delhi to Goa starting in January, 2016 so I'm prepping on RUclips :-)
I love watching your videos Christine. Amazing. I want to see the world.
You are doing a great job showing Southeast Asia as low/mid budget travelers! Your adventures are bringing back so many memories :). And literally LOL'd Michael's tuk tuk sales skillz!
I've been to Udaipur twice and for me this video really captures life there. Well done.
Usually in India, we call it auto-rickshaw, but 'Tuk-Tuk' is a catchy name :) !
Another great video...!
Aloha! from the U.S.A Looking forward to each of your episodes! Namaste !
I look forward to these videos! Love e'm
Takes your breath away with its beauty.
Going to India, you will forever remember the constant struggle of living everyday life on each corner you turned while there. You will also remember the deeply embedded cultural roots and the love for religion, Gods, and Goddesses that people make a part of their lives with every step they take. India is an ancient land, the culture, the religion, the way of life.. It's different, and it's unique. But that's India.
This video definitely warrants a major WOW! Going along with you and Michael - virtually - is incredible. Thank you so much for sharing with us. Oh, tell Michael I loved his Tuk Tuk sales pitch :) Be safe. mary sue
oh it looks so nice there. Im glad you guys are enjoying your stay!
Thanks so much for sharing your travel adventure videos. It is an eye opening for me to see India that I am always curious about the culture and the people that live there.
What a great life experience.... I'm sure you guys appreciate the little things even more now! I want to do this!
You two are so brave and have unity! I don't think I could ever get used to travelling to India. :x The thunder was really loud! I actually like the sound of it mixed with rain. It puts me to sleep and calms me in a solemn mood. I love their traditional buildings though. So gorgeous in the way they are constructed. Your hubby trying to help promote using the car~ Cute. I actually was reading up on different bees and their stings. Scary. Cute little friend you had there on your leg! :D
Me encantan sus videos. Gracias por compartir. :)
LOVED Michaels tuk-tuk sales pitch....I was howling!!
I wish I had your adventurous spirit. I am living vicariously through you!
Thanks for taking us along with you!
The song that the man was playing on his instrument is a traditional Sindhi/Rajasthani song! It brought back so many memories from my childhood, as my grandfather and father are both Sindhi and listen to that music. So relaxing!
thanks for the vids! they're helping me to structure my journey better. .
Beautiful. Used to dream of going to India, so much diversity. My dreams have changed but I still love India related stuff. Fun fun and blessings.
Liked the playing man =))) & the palace is beautiful =)
Wow! So amazing! I'm becoming to change my mind about India due to your story ;)
God bless you, be happy =)
Unbelievable! Thank you both. I would never make it there because I literally live with Lysol wipes just to go to the local grocery here. You and Michael are adorable!
WOOOHOOOO 10 minutes!!!! lol I love your longer videos
all the spices,so cool...and I loved the lake and the quiet side,,the birds was just so colorful..and Micheal was funny being the Tuk-tuk saleman...if you decide to relocate to India,he could be a tuk-tuk sales man...lol..thanks for sharing your adventure with us
do you know what instrument the man was playing? He was really good, getting a wonderful range of colors and harmonies out of very few strings! so inspiring!!
satrangi that man playing which is an ancestor of guitar
Christine & Michael - Thank you SO much for sharing your traveling experiences here with all of us! I'm so glad that the not-so-nice comments don't deter you from posting your vids. There will always be someone offended, we can't please everyone. Thanks again and I'm enjoying every single video. You two are great people!

The street musician was marvelous!
The views are beautiful....
Love your videos..the good, bad, dirty, peaceful, chaos, tranquil...all part of India, and I love it all...India is not to be compared to other countries as one post suggest.

I agree, Best part! You and Michael are truly a great couple.
My Dad was in India for 6 months during WW2. He said, 'You haven't lived until you see India' He loved India.
Udaipur seems a bit nicer. That bit with the street performer was beautiful. :)
Thanks for sharing!
LOL. I'd like a Tuk Tuk for my teenage daughter! :) Such an amazing trip.
Ah, would love to visit India, all the more after seeing this! What a fascinating country! Michael should be a tuk-tuk salesman ;) He's so funny!
So true! walk the walk before you talk the talk and judge. From being a small child growing up in England I've loved indian culture, I would love to visit so badly, wear the clothes, eat the food, hear the music and sounds all around, I would love to see and small all that's intrigued me for years. Indian jewelry is the most beautiful in my opinion ...Margaret x
