    BRIEF HISTORY OF UDAIPUR RHAJASTHAN
Udaipur, known as the "City of Lakes," is a historic city in Rajasthan, India. Founded by Maharana Udai Singh II in 1559, it served as the capital of the Mewar Kingdom. The majestic City Palace, a blend of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture, stands as a symbol of Udaipur's royal heritage. Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake add to its picturesque charm, with boat rides offering stunning views.
Udaipur's iconic Lake Palace, featured in the James Bond film "Octopussy," is a key attraction. The Jag Mandir and Jagdish Temple showcase intricate craftsmanship. The vibrant Gangaur and Mewar festivals celebrate the city's rich cultural traditions.
In 1857, Udaipur joined the British Empire, becoming a princely state. Post-independence, it integrated into the Indian Union in 1949. Today, Udaipur is a popular tourist destination, attracting visitors with its historic sites, colorful markets, and traditional Rajasthani cuisine.

Cover the doors with something like all north Indian rickshaw drivers do. It get so cold here in north India that you will feel like you are at home in UK.😅And don't forget about the type of fog you are going face, it will stop you wherever you are.

You guys should check out Lavasa city near Pune. It's a planned hill station based on an Italian town Portofino and is situated near the UNESCO site of Western Ghats. It's construction was halted due to environmental concerns some years ago but now they have resolved the issue and are completing the unfinished parts. It's one of a kind location in India.

Great video! It's nice to see that Udaipur has kept its beauty and charm. My wife and I visited in 1988 and it doesn't look that different (unlike many other places in India).

It’s so much fun watching you two though you should call your vlog Janine and Liam eat their way around, to funny, I love Indian food. The Indian Tourist Board should employ you guys. That was amazing, another fantastic town. I have a question, how fast does Pete go as you’re always driving past lots of vehicles? Again this came in just as I opened RUclips, I’m getting good at this. Thanks guys, great video, loved it, again. Stay safe. 💕

India roads can be slow with traffic and potholes, so it can seem we are going super fast. Sometimes vehicles are carrying too much weight as well (often haha). I think Pete goes close to 40mph when we wants to

Lovely video again. Well done on the great angles. How close to the water the camera was on the boat! Such a wonderful place with those wide skies. I expect the stars are fantastic there. Have you any shots of them? Again I'm in awe of your journey and your positivity. Love you both. Good luck on next stage. ❤🙏

Please could you try again to explain what you mean? Your comment doesn't make sense to me but I'd like to understand. What is the significance of the islands you mention and how do they relate to the Maldives, Bollywood etc? What has been taken too far and by whom? What game are you referring to?

Great Videos guys. Love your enthusiasm and look forward to watching you every week. Just one thing, ( and I'm sure you have answered this somewhere before) where do you get the music from. Most impressed with your choices. Also the page where you list the gear that you use doesn't seem to be available any more. Well done and keep up the good work.

👍🏽Thank you both for the videos!
It’s going to get much colder as you go north🥶
I suggest you to get may be 2 large blankets to use in the toktok. May be some shades to block flying insects and the wind when in the toktok.
Cannot wait for your next video!
