I got all but Pirate Ship (I thought Military Base) and the second Theatre round (I thought Movie Studio). Most rounds I picked up pretty quickly where they were too. I reckon I'd be alright at this game!

Seeing Jay Foreman and Adam Blampied on the same screen makes me happy in ways I cannot describe!
I kinda like the zoom format. It’s good for viewers to easily see everyone’s face/reactions. Especially for BOTC. Also, you can incorporate other people who might not be able to make it to London for in person gaming. That being said, very excited for live board game club. I hope they do bring back some zoom BGC from time to time though.

Been watching Jay since finding his channel after he worked with Geoff from All the Stations. Amazing how many completely unrelated Channels in my subscriptions actually are connected in some small way.
Even though Jay is the only person here I know, I love seeing him in something I'd never expect to see him in.
33:15 the answer to “how long have places like this existed” completely threw me off for this one. Police stations definitely haven’t been around for as long as organized societies have. There have been precursors to it, but police, as an institution, haven’t even existed until around the 1800’s. That’s actually a relatively recent invention
This truly is the end of an era.

I’ve been binge watching board game club from the first episode and the music is well stuck in my head, however when I saw the thumbnail for this episode I instantly started hearing the Map Men song. Loving this crossover of two of my favorite niche channels.

Spy fall is one of those games that I would hate to play because I would be so bad but I love watching other people play it. XD
I hate people who don't play to at least try to win. I think it makes it no fun for anyone. What is the point of a game if it's not competing to try and win? I agree winning is not what makes a game fun, but trying to win is. I'm glad I've never seen Sean on another episode.

Taken me months, but I've finally watched every single episode of Board Game Club. And what an episode this was. Highly entertaining, especially with the conclusion to that final game.
Watching this, and only partway through, but I was really sold on this! It seemed pretty dull at first but I got the hang of it quite quick, and I successfully got both the place and the spy quite a few times.
I understand you, Sully! I've seen that movie where sand eats people! I don't remember what it's called, but I've seen it!
Also I was dying when Sean held up Worst Detectives Ever and nobody realized he was the spy!

Honestly, I think it'd be amazing to have Zoom BGC make a return every once in a while. Maybe a monthly thing, so you can still have some special guests like Sean or Tempest sometime D:

super proud of myself for the hospital round. I was watching blind, and not only did I figure out that it was hospital after like 3-ish questions, I also figured out Adam was the spy early on as well. His confusion at chairs with wheels was a massive giveaway, I wish someone had caught it.
Other than the second theatre, which I also got pretty quickly, I was pretty rubbish at the rest of the rounds.

Adam was the worst spy at the hospital. "The food is universally bad"? First question and it's immediately either airplane or hospital, surely?
You need to add an SRS stipulation to the point system where if you get wrongly accused of being the spy you get 2 points and the spy gets 4 points.

I want to say I love Blairs "whats that in the corner?" Question. Newbie spyfall questions are "yes or no to this?" And the answer is almost always "yes why else would you bring it up". "Whats that in the corner?" Is two steps above that, its basically "tell me something that only people who know where we are would know"

Jay’s “you have to eat what you get here or you’re not doing it right” comment is what tipped me off as to where they were. It was a perfect response honestly but I felt it narrowed it down quite a bit but if you weren’t fully paying attention you might not have given it much thought.

On the one with the beach I honestly thought crusader army, there was an animal, a horse, some people went there as a kid, referencing the child crusade, one didn't wear shoes, possible reference to later crusaders when they just sent any riffraff in. Lots of sweating men around since they went to the holy land, the question of whether or not they liked the ones in charge made a lot of sense. Especially when Sully said there was danger all around. I was completely convinced they were talking about the crusades😅
