Hi Michael, welcome back, such a beautiful and touching rendition. I always look up to you and started posting a cover of your pieces. Thanks for the inspiration. Stay safe and healthy.
Just beautiful! So soothing to listen to and the guitars sound so good together. This is one of those pieces that never disappoints and the performance completely serves and elevates the music. One of the things I like most about all your performances is you let the music speak for itself- I really appreciate the restraint you employ to let the music say what it wants to say, not what an interpreter thinks it should say. Bravo!!
In 2001 I was visiting Sam Ash, a music store in NYC and out of a sudden Michael entered the store and run a fantastic workshop playing many marvelous tunes and commenting about the instruments and arrangements. What a great afternoon! Thanks for that Michael!
@@MichaelChapdelaineofficial thanks for answering! I have a picture with you back then. I remember you played Saudade, which is a word in Portuguese and as I am Brazilian you asked me to define it to the group. Really hard task, as there is no such word in English! Beautiful piece of music, by the way.
@@aljannuzzi Yes, i remember that. I have paraphrased our dialogue many times when introducing that Dyens masterpiece. Can you please send me a file of the photo?
@@MichaelChapdelaineofficial I will send you the photo - just asked my mom as it is on her possession. I remember you saying “wow, unfeeled feelings or perhaps unspoken words” It stayed with me since then.
Exquisite, Dear Michael. Masterful music. Masterful integrative editing. And the best, your closed eyes smile and head bow, at fíni. I can't thank you enough. To bad our hero, R Dyens, never composed an Ave Maria. Would you consider doing so? From Sacramento. Pete's ole cuzn. France Driscoll ¡Viva Cristo Rey! PS - Thanks for your kindness to my young friend, Demitrius - and his buddy. They're still enthralled by you.
Não sou católico mas acho essa a melodia mais linda do mundo !!!!
Bravo amigo!!!
I don't have the words. I lack the linguistic acuity to to adequately describe how this performance affected me.
Thank you Michael for sharing this.

Amazing musical sensibilities. You also play on amazing sounding guitars, whether steel or nylon strings. Really enjoyable.
