What Porsche ? That F-type -R is probably faster than most Porsche models but is a stunning cruiser when you drive normally. Its a Small GT car that is very quick .It's better than any Boxster the 911 Turbo is Faster but still for long distance the Jaguar is better .It's personal thing but to say the price is Excessive is really stupid. If you a car guy and spend a day with that car you will love it .
I have a respect for that brand , hosts one thee best events and enters it's cars stock std and perfoms very well , the FType R is still one of the finest.
Lol, Ciro always want to call these cars by their “full names” 🤣🤣 This V8 sounds brutal! Can’t avoid the price tag though, don’t even if we will be seeing a lot of these on the road. It’s just beautifully sculpted though, a near-masterpiece.
Good ciro!! As always, excellent reviews. However your colleague Julie I don't always enjoy for two reasons:she sings off-key continuesly and she swears often. Can someone please sanitize her mouth, Thankyou.
Thanks for being civilised and talking in kilowatts and not one of the various versions of hp which way too many car channels stuck in the 19th century do! 🤘🏽
Before the June 2016 quieting software, F-Types were much louder especially in the overrun which crackled and popped beautifully all the way down to idle. On throttle, they sound much better and louder early in the RPM range. Later cars are only as loud near WOT.
Love my bought 2013 XKR, 5.0 - V8 Supercharged, Convert. as well in 2021 with 23K mi. (508 hp) for $59.9K!! Mint condition 'n absolutely smokes!! JAGS ROCK!! 👊
I've heard that there is no longer an F-type SVR anymore since the engine is already used in the F-type R, what other engines could they use? the project 8' engine?
I'm thinking the new SVR models are going to use electric motors as well as this V8, I know Jaguar is trying to get electric into more of their cars. The power that would add to this would be amazing too.
The roaring of the Jag..all you have to do is just brag! & brag! and mind you that's not enough for this Jag.👌👍👏👏 British beauty in South Africa.. Oh! Brother!! 😳👌👍👏👏
A "sports car" is a ground up, no top, 2-seat design with racing power. A GT is a sports car with a hardtop. So its a GT, probably the only GT on the market since the F-Type is the only sports car on the market.
I beg to differ. That interior doesn't look like its worth 4.4 million rands honestly. They need to do a far much better job in the interior. Why don't the Land rover division help them design a better cock pit?
R2.4m. But I agree. Interior doesn't look special. Steering wheel is also old but Jaguar has a new one. Doesn't make sense why they never put it in here.
I have a friend who owns the previous generation F-Type, it's brutal although it's standard. So i can imagine when it has 423 kw. Damn. But the price tag 😭😭
Literally every word of your title is misleading. Everyone knows the exhaust note was toned DOWN this year (no pops and crackles below 3500 rpm). Not the fastest factory F-Type either. That would be the SVR. Same engine, but significantly lighter. Beauty is subjective, but I would argue that most people agree the redesign, particularly the front end, ruined Sir Ian Callum's design. The refresh is by no means ugly... it just makes the car look less unique/special. Not bashing your video or the car (happy 2015 R owner myself). Great review nevertheless!
CarAndDriver thoroughly tested the facelifted F-Type R and found it no faster than the 2015 F-Type R they tested. There is no way this car is prettier. The new face is very generic, boring, dull, zero character, devoid of elegance...I mean, it blends in with your crappy Mazdas etc out there...UNLIKE THE pre-facelift. Also, it's quieter than the pre-facelift F-Type R as pretty much every other review has indicated.
@@snowman4527 Oh, well perfect. It’s gotta be the other possibility then. You’re basically, at minimum, a borderline racist or something, because what other reason would you have for pointing something like this out? It’s no different than when Geely took over Volvo. They were a source of funding, and the company was left to continue to run itself.

Your sense of humor is priceless 🤣. That being said this is a dope beast 👁
I live near Jaguar/Land Rover experience, these things wake me up every other day 😭😍😍 but for R2.4Million? That’s excessive.
Excessive .... get a Porsche now that worth the money and will lace this car in all aspects
What other car us as pretty, capable and sounds amazing for the money?

You don't need to hit the exhaust button, when you go into Dynamic mode the exhausts activates by itself - as it should!

One of the best sounding V8s on the market for sure 🔥

you are right, there will be no more svr

Which model has that fixed spoiler? Looks really good.
Complete opposite for me, but to each their own of course. I find it ruins that beautiful shape out back.
what a gorgeous color
I think this is pretty much the perfect sports car
When is the new svr coming out
Ah Ha! i came from Dougs video so i know exactly whats going on here!!!
It sounded exactly like the Range Rover SVR, I think it's the exact same engine?
Yes
I’m curious what color is that?
didn't they discontinue the svr trim?
What a machineeeeeeee
What is the name of that dark blue color? 😍
There won’t be an svr version
Ciro I need some advice.
Should I get my dad the new Raptor or just buy the terrifying supercharged TrackHawk?

Could we have a normal Range Rover vs lumma clr rs drag race
Jaguar F-Type R vs Mercedes-Benz AMG GTS? I like them both can't choose 😃
On your next video plz try the new v8 porche cayenne GTS you wont regret it

Is it a 2020 or a 2021 model?
2021
Nigel Cola Thank, Nigel. I was confused by the title of the vid.
You had a V8 but you did reve it 💔 we wanna hear the sound of the car from the outside
You don't need to do any of that to make it growl, pop and bang, you just floor it and at 4000rpm all hell breaks loose 😄
The F type drops in re sale value like a X6.
I m waiting for a Bugatti review in S.A

1:23 it’s not British car any more, belongs to TATA motors (Indian company)
Shame what they done to the looks- previous gen was perfect.
And the title is way off on it being louder.
Sounds like Audi RS6/7... also Dynamic/Sport is very Audi like
Disagree but hey 🤷🏽♂️
The F-Type is 50 dbA louder, at 146 vs 95.
I don't think this one is nearly as pretty as the original shape.
It’s not prettier. It’s definite not louder, it’s is WHISPER QUIET compared to a 2014-15. And it’s not better. And there is a RWD version.
From the house of TATA
First :D
For that money, rather get Audi R8
R8 is from 3.4 mill up
Love the channel love the car but please keep uk politics out of it. It's a car channel not BBC question time. We come here to escape that shit 🚘

It looks worse in my opinion. Horizontal headlights just like everything else out there
Prettier? Stop joking. Louder? Lol, what are you even doing? Even Jaguar themselves say they had to make it quiter because of regulations.
