@@allenmapes8723 Thank you so much for your condolences and blessing. Yes, it is difficult. We were like siamese twins. One heart and one mind. It was 25 years of blessed peace and joy. He treated me like a princess. Sometimes I feel like half of a whole. That's the very lonely and difficult times. His Anniversary is coming up it will be 8 years ago that he passed. I will bring a picnic lunch to his grave and say the prayers we said ever morning and night. Then I will admit my wrongs and ask God for forgiveness as we did together every night before going to bed. It may sound weird but it brings me comfort, I also will bring petunias as they were his favorite flower.

I know of christian marriages that have ended in divorce or separation just as many as non religious marriages. God and "submission" is not the reason for a successful marriage. It is equality, both the man and the woman loving each other and putting each other first. A woman and man both lead their marriage together helping each other out in times of hardship. It is a modern world now, as much respect I have for the christian faith and this beautiful wedding video.

Submission is part of the marriage relationship if it's done properly. Alot of divorces happen because women refuse to submit. And why refuse? You'll be better off for it if you do!
A lot of divorces happen because God is not the foundation in their individual lives or their marriage. Divorces happen because people want to act however they want to and don’t want to put aside their selfish pride and work together. Wives should be submissive to their husbands but husbands need to be the spiritual and Godly men to their wives.
Obviously you are not a Christian we also have to submit to CHRIST also. In a Marriage the husband is the priest of the home. They will have a successful marriage as long as CHRIST is in the center the glue that holds the two.
