GPS or Global position satellites is a government-sponsored service and it's free for all. However, we do pay a few dollars for map updates but that is optional. I only update my maps once every 5 to 8 years at a cost of about $150.
I just want the HD Radio. My phone will always be better for navigation. Is there not a way to get just the HD Radio function without the UConnect nav?
I'm having a hard time opening maps on my 2017 Dodge Challenger 8.4 uconnect; how do I get that going if it doesn't even show it on the screen to activate it?
Well if it doesn’t show it on the screen it might be in the “apps” section and if not then you’ll need it activate it either via dealership, or I think through online, there’s a video by Uconnect showing how to activate it, I’m not sure how much it cost tho.
I purchased a 2017 Chrysler 200 Limited Platinum & it didn't come with a navigation, plus I can't even load my media music have to keep my flash drive connected to it...that's the only thing I don't like about my car.
the nav system on these units suck. i am highly disappointed. Just use your phone or buy a garmin car gps. Whoever made the gps for these radio's must have never had to use one a lot. it is bull crap that i still have to use my garmin in my brand new truck with navigation.
I would say it's easy to use but it also really sucks I've had a 2012 and a 2015 Charger and a journey and the Uconnect hands-free system has always sucked easy to use but sucks
