Overcome Your Music Theory Issues With This Tool

- BanLab splitter is a cool tool for many things, but I love using it for overcoming music theory issues (in Ableton Live) in the production workflow, and also to give me inspiration. You can use it for practicing, sampling, DJ stuff, and many other ways, but I definitely recommend having a go extracting chord progressions, bass, and beats to see where it takes you. Amazing LNA!!! It's inspiring! Thank you :)
I absolutely love ableton's convert options, they are such a powerful tool!
Totally agree!
You always have the best tips and ideas! Thanks so much for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Thank you! I learned so much!
Glad it was helpful!
This is insanely good! Thanks
Glad you like it!
How cool is that!! 😮🎉😊🙌
Yay kiva kun tykkäsit!
Simply, if you struggle with song arrangement, as I do. Then this Is a good way to reference without having to pull it in your Daw. I just put "feed me- feeling reckless" in it and got to strip the track down and kinda see and hear parts soloed so that I could easily just be able to see where the main energy is. Good stuff
Yes simple but fun tool/technique 😊
I’m trying to learn music theory can you teach me please
How long does the splitter analysis take? Trying to determine if its the track size or the app
My tracks get stuck at the 60% separating everytime
Question how does handle old recordings that have background noises from the recording? Does it have a restoring feature?
Don't know. Need to have a try :)
Mhm is it using Spleeter AI model by Deezer Research that they published about 4 years ago under a permissive open-source license?
The idea is cool. BUT, a huge but - the subscription. We all already have tons of subscriptions-based services. I spend each month around 75 euros - splice, Spotify, Netflix, Xbox game pass, etc. And I am not saying about plugins and all that stuff. So adding another subscription-based service is not an option for me. Plus, music theory is not rocket science. It is worse to spend two-three months to master the basics, and this will be more than enough for most producers. All such apps seem like some shortcut, a magic button that would somehow make your music better, but it is not.
Hi, yes I totally get your point! Altough, I think BandLab is free to download and there is no limits in Splitter :)
