Love these techniques and can’t wait to try the spritzes. Also, grateful to know that Simon Stamps has the Curiosity Shop dies cuts! I’ve been fussy cutting but will be ordering the dies for a quicker process. Thank you for all the inspiration.
The dies sure are handy if you are into the fussy cut look but hate doing it! that would be me! 🤣

I always love your makes. I had no idea there were coordinating dies for several of Tim's stamps! So glad you used them. I cannot recall Tim mentioning they were available.
The dies are not made by Tim. They are made by Simon Says Stamp with his permission and are only available from them. They have quite a few of them now and seem to keep adding more!

Great tutorial Juliana, I love your card. I will be holding off on buying Distress Spritz because I still have all the spray stains, oxide sprays and Mica sprays and I think I can get the results I want with what I have. I do love the Spritz' and how you used though.

They are very pretty! I wonder when you colored the butterfly on the tags? And is the butterfly a combination of the ink and spritz or all spritz?? Thank you! 😊

Great tutorial! Your presentation is very clear and easy to follow. One question I could not find the answer to, even after watching the Tim replay....how do the Spritz products differ from Mica spray? My take on this is that they are similar to the mica spray, just different colors (from what I could find, the sprays are metallic pigments in a resin binder and only come in 3 colors). I know that the mica STAINS have a colored carrier with matching colored mica so they cover what’s underneath. My main question is in regard to the mica spray. Just curious. Love your card! TYFS! ❤️🦋💜
Sorry for the delayed reply, but I was out of town traveling.
Mica Sprays, Mica Stains and Distress Spritz are very different from each other. They each have very different formulas and properties that make them unique. All of the sprays and the spritz have a pearlescent finish which makes them different from the Distress Spray Stains and Distress Oxide Sprays.
The Mica Sprays only come in 3 colors - Brushed Pewter, Antiqued Bronze, and Tarnished Brass.
The Mica Stains were a seasonal product release for Halloween and Christmas. When sprayed they are opaque (so they cover whatever you spray them over) and the colors are not part of the Distress Palette.
The Distress Spritz is more translucent, which allows you to layer them. They also have other unique properties with regards to how they interact with the other Distress Products and Tim discusses that in his RUclips live.

They are just sprayed with the Distress Spritz. Thanks for watching!
@@JulianaMichaels And are they made with the watercolor paper? And do you feel like Tim Holtz watercolor paper is very different than other watercolor papers? I have so much watercolor paper in other brands, hate to purchase something else if I can get comparable results with others!
@@leecockrum7650 they are made using Distress Watercolor paper. In my opinion it works the best with the Distress products especially when a liquid medium or water is being used. I have only ever tried Strathmore watercolor paper and don’t care for it when compared to Distress so I can’t speak really speak to any other brands. I say try what you have and see if it works or if you like the results. Hope that helps.

Another stunning design! Love your step-by-step tutorials. What is the difference between the Versafine Claire pigment ink and Archival ink?
Thanks so much! Versafine is a pigment ink, so it stays wet for a long time and you either need to dry it or give it time to dry, otherwise the ink will smear. You can also heat emboss with pigment inks. Archival ink dries quickly, so it won't smear and you can't use it for heat embossing. Both inks are waterproof when dry and give you crisp stamped images. Hope that helps!
