Hi Keith good to see you again, I would say you had a pretty good session getting shots of four different birds of prey in conditions that were not ideal. Your microphone did a great job in that wind so another plus for you and a good watch for us. Until next time take care and stay safe my friend.
Thanks Clive. I guess it was not a bad day although would have liked some better images. Had to bury the mic in my clothes to protect it so was not too bad. Take care mate. Cheers Keith
Nice one Keith, bit of a Raptor-fest there, lol... The winds been a right pain lately and never the best especially living in Cornwall! Enjoyed that as always, nice and chilled. Cheers R👍
Thanks mate, yes great to see those amazing birds even if not a great success with the photography. We definitely need some decent weather. Cheers Keith
Hi Keith, You managed to get a few shots on that day, even though the weather was not on your side. That's the problem chasing wildlife, it's a bit of a game. The time you get to one spot it's gone. Surprisingly, the microphone performed really well in the windy conditions...🙂👍🏻
Thanks Eddie and what a great game it is chasing wildlife 😊. With the dead cat on the microphone and it buried under my clothing, it turned out ok. Cheers Keith
Enjoyed this one, and kudos for staying out of the hide and doing your own thing away from the madding crowds, I would far rather see shots taken on the hoof and out in the open, than from a hide. Just my opinion. And agree 100% that staying put is often a great tactic letting the animals come to you. I think if you know your habitats reasonably well, you can up your odds on the day..
Thanks for the comment and glad you agree with my thoughts. I do go in hides but there is nothing like finding something unique for yourself, so much more of an achievement is felt. My best experiences have been when the wildlife comes to me. Cheers Keith
Keep persevering Keith it's all part of the game ! Certainly agree with you on the idea of staying put at a good location and letting the wildlife "come to you" a fellow u-tuber Mike Lane is an exponent of this still / hide method and really delivers some great footage. 👍
Love the area, looks like a really good area for birds of prey, just keep at it! :) Over here it’s alot easier to photograph them during summer when they have chicks, alot less caring and you can locate them easier due to the chicks being so loud :p marshes/wetlands with alot of reeds 👌😊 Well done mate :)
Nice one Keith, four Birds of Prey species in one short day in bad conditions ain't bad at all Just love Marsh Harriers, having not seen them for so many years. But you had some good shots despite the conditions. We saw six at Holme Dunes - recommended for a day out that place. And saw JP's film when it came out, he definitely doesn't like wind😃😃 But don't blame him, so glad it's calmed down a bit lately Have a great weekend Keith👍👍
Thanks Dave and yes I con't really complain as what I saw, would have just like a few better images. Holme Dunes is another place I hear mentioned a lot but never been so will add to the list. Really cold wind out this morning but hopefully will be a better day tomorrow. Enjoy your weekend mate. Cheers Keith
Even though the conditions wen't great for photography it looks like you still had a good day mate. I was on the Essex coast for the second storm , it was insane weather conditions. All the best, Steve.
Thank you. All the best. 👍📷😎
Cheers Rob
I have enjoyed this day out with you. It seems you have fun no matter what the conditions are.
Thanks Ronald. It's always great to be out there whatever happens. Could do with some good weather though. Cheers Keith
Thanks for sharing Keith the only time I like the wind is when I'm at the cost photographing the waves. 👍
Thanks Martin. Yes that can be a great place to photograph in stormy conditions. Cheers Keith

Always difficult when the wind gets up Keith. Sticking at it certainly paid off, fantastic array of birds of prey from one location and one session👍👍
Thanks Scott, never get bored of seeing birds of prey no matter how common sometimes they are. Hoping for better weather to come.
