We bought one of these at the beginning of the summer with the solar panels that go with it. Fab for the camper ( plus we plug the camper into it when we don’t have hook up), but we also use it around the house for some of our power hungry kitchen appliances and we top up the solar panels in the garden. Also piece of mind at home if we have a power cut too. Wouldn’t be without it now 👍
I have one of these, slightly higher capacity, and a 200w panel, great bit of kit. I have made up a lead with 13a plug at one end and a 3 pin 16 amp "van hookup" connector on the other, so I can power the sockets in the van.
We use a different brand, had them three years,, used at home to keep bills down and in our camper x 2, one solar charging whilst we draw on the other. Keeps us off camspites and with their prices, anyone purchasing one of these will recover the lsrge outlay in a year or so.
With lpg available less and less, and with prices seen at £156 pl, these further future proof your offsite camping.
Great vid guys. We've missed following you, but we are now back
Welcome back and thanks for watching again 😃
That looks fab! I’ve been after one for my trip to Spain for when we’re off grid for a night or so and good to know it can run a hairdryer!
I’m soon getting my first campervan. It will be a small vehicle rather than a massive great thing that would sleep four or more!! I’m an older single guy who has loved camping and caravanning since before I learned to drive and passed the test!!
Sounds great! Madonsteamrailways, i'm sure you will have great times 👍
Lovely job 👍👍👍👏👏👏
Because of my allergies, I would never loiter within tents, but I absolutely adore caravanning. But I would only look at motorhomes and campervans.
😃
One tip if your running a fridge for instance from the 25 amp 12v outlet the power bank will turn off if fridge doesn’t run for a while what I do to prevent this is plug a digital voltage readout thing that plugs into cigarette lighter socket this doesn’t even show as a draw on the readout and this stops it shutting down.
Thanks for the info AJ 👍
I use Bluetti with 2 add on batteries totalling 6kwh
They are good to have Mel 👍
Try a Jackermo
Or even a Jackery !
😃👍
Would it run a van via external hook up point?
With the correct cable/sockets, yes. Be aware you'll get less runtime, as it will also try to charge your leisure & van batteries through the onboard electric system.
yes runs just like on ehu i allso run 500 watts from the roof into it look at the ecoplay 2400 watts great bit of kit
