    I don’t see anyone giving Dustin the respect he deserves, Connor hasn’t “lost his fire” or anything like that dustin executed the perfect game plan to beat Connor the calf kicks from a southpaw stance is something Connor has never experienced before and it obviously surprised him and completely shut down his deadliest weapon which is his movement, I don’t believe connors out the picture like most people say he is though his boxing still looks clean there was nothing bad I saw from him all I saw was a masterclass on dustins half

      Finally a comment I fully agree with, everybody is saying he looked sluggish or slow when he didn’t, his hands were just as fast as they always been. And he slowed down because of Dustins calf kicks. Nobody wants to give Dustin the credit for being the better man tonite

    • @stevestakeonleague-nrl4530
      @stevestakeonleague-nrl4530 3 года назад +84

      FINALLY! Someone with some sense. Brother, I am a Conor die hard but Dustin executed a fantastic gameplan! People saying Conor is done, clearly watch the UFC once every so often. He clinched beautifully and had his moments. The story was the calf kicks. He can definitely implement a different game plan and beat Dustin. Dustin definitely deserves his due credit though 100%.

    Let this be your petition to sign.
    No matter what happens to Conor throughout his MMA career, and personal life, his real fans will be here by his side. He puts these shows on for us, the man could have never fought again, he’s doing it for his fans. With that, he takes the risk of losing. Either way, we get a Conor McGregor fight. And many more to come. He is clearly hungry for competition. Let’s just hope he can make something happen for us loyal fans and get some wins before he ages a little older. He is a true legend of the game, and he is still alive. Don’t take that for granted. Look what happened to Kobe. We want our legends alive and well, and Conor is just that. But he’s not old yet, he’s still in his prime, in terms of physique, and athleticism. In terms of wealth he is set. So let’s be happy that he’s still hungry for competition, and most importantly loyal to his fans, by giving us these fights, now let’s be loyal back, and cheer him on no matter the result. He takes the risk of humiliation when he steps under those lights, and he wears those losses on his sleeves.

      Conor is human. He's a good fighter but he simply isn't on Khabib's level. Khabib is way too smart to let Conor tee off on him and we've seen with Alvarez, the Poirier rematch, and Nate fights that Conor has to put a beating on guys above 145 to get them out of there. He's not finishing guys with a single clean connection or two. Khabib is smart and durable enough to avoid that and McGregor doesn't have the gas to win a war.

      People don't like him, cause he is also a good showman. For somebody who doesnt know why the UFC is so popularized right now and why Dena loves him, Connor might seem like a jerk, highschool bully, etc. But in his prime, which seems to be fading in recent two years, Connor did only best to the game. He kind a carried the whole business on his shoulders for few years.
      Edit: Oh, and one more addition: Could Khabib be where he is right now, without Connor's blood and sweat beforehand?

    Calf kicks in MMA are so affective, I think more fighters should start implementing them into their game!

      Yea, it always seems to work when they arent planned for, but often just the opposite when they are planned for. And the offenders always seem to be one trick ponies. Low kicks blocked?! game over.

    When Connor is not playing his part, he is the nicest: humble, rational and honourable. I really hate the persona he's created, but I respect and connect to the human underneath, and those who can't see past the trees will never see the forest.
