- In this video I show you how to tie a DOUBLE TUNGSTEN bead NYMPH like a Simon's Ugly. This is a great fly pattern for deep fast water and fly fishing in winter. It's ideal for the heavy nymph in a double nymph indicator rig.

Hook: Size 10 Kumho Nymph
Beads: Black nickel and gold slotte tungsten 3.5 and 3.3 mm
Legs and Tail: Mini bug legs brown
Dubbing: Grey squirrel dub
Rib: Medium copper wire
Thread: 8/0 black uni thread

Nice tie. An easy tie once you have worked out the procedure with the initial feelers. I superglue my beads in place and make them in a variety of colours. Great for the Tongariro's deep fast runs. Thanks from Gisborne.
