    The only time my s21 ultra lags is when transitioning from 60hz to 120hz, so basically when you touch the screen after releasing it. Using Galaxy MAXhz and locking the screen to always 120hz makes it smooth.

    You know when i see the new update on miui and color os, they always put some optimization stuff on the changelog, less power, less memory, and faster performance etc. But i never see anything like optimization explanation on samsung changelog, always new features. I guess they're not even trying to make one ui more optimized and less power right?

    I've been a Samsung user for years. My first Samsung phone was the Galaxy S8. I've never experienced any sort of lag on that phone, everything ran so smoothly, even 4k video recording, which is the most disappointing thing on Samsung phone these days, so choppy and laggy. Then I upgraded to the S9, which was also fast but One UI 1.0 update made it a bit slower, and also 4GB of RAM couldn't handle my usage, spotify was closing on the background while I listened to music for example. Then I bought the S20 5G, best phone I've ever had, by far. The upgrade from 4GB of RAM to 12GB was phenomenal, apps never closed on the background, cameras were amazing. Even after 2 major updates the phone was holding pretty well. Then my nightmares with Samsung phones started, bought the Flip3 then Flip4 and those phones never felt flagship level in terms of perfomance.

    • @hobosnake1

      @Vinícius Cândido for sure. They make progress and the December security update really made it run a lot smoother. I just wish that they could get it this smooth day 1 of one ui 5. Or next time, day 1 of oneui 6. Usually it gets smooth... but then the new android version is out and then it becomes a little janky again. S22 ultra chips were a hit and miss with bad quality control as it was made my Samsung foundry and not TSMC, and the Exynos version performs even worse. VST's phone has always had lag issues since he got it, with a low Geekbench score as well. Whatever you try and change in settings it might improve it slightly but it wont fix the fact that you were unlucky with a bad chip... S23 series with new TSMC chip should finally stop Samsung from screwing over their customers.

    Most dont actually have an issue with this. Definitely when this so called issue only applies if you use swipe gestures. If you use buttons chances are you don't even know this exists

    • @VelianSpeaksTech
      @VelianSpeaksTech  Год назад +2

      I know but I simply can't go back to buttons, using gestures since HTC Polaris and Artemis.

    • @ohyea2k
      @ohyea2k Год назад

      @Velian Speaks Tech the way I see it buttons are objectively the better navigation anyway. Tapping a button is simpler, easier and quicker than swiping in reality anyway. I came from an iPhone and don't see the big issue, why would you want to swipe and hold your screen to see history rather than just press the button. Buttons are best anyway

    • @d4nd31o
      @d4nd31o Год назад +3

      @ohyea2k349 I disagree. I think the Gesture Navigation method has really brought Android current. Super fluid(when you're not using VST's phone) as opposed to the clunk-click of Olde Androide.
      I still use the Galaxy S21, now with OneUI5, my device has never noticeably lagged since the day I bought it new and I really like to dig around and use it in a far more complex manner than the 'Everyday User' browsing their socials and playing Clash of Jewel Beast Racer. No lag.
      Funny, though, I've watched VST complain about these lags since he was using an S21, too.

    • @ohyea2k
      @ohyea2k Год назад +1

      @d4nd31o how can you disagree? Button gesture navigation literally is just faster and easier than swipe gestures. Like tapping the history button is simpler than swiping from the bottom and holding to see history. Also, the universal back and home button is far more convenient than swiping or relying on in app buttons placed randomly at the top the screen like internet browsers.

    • @ohyea2k
      @ohyea2k Год назад

      @xho bruh the bottom of the screen is not at all a hard to reach spot bruh and not tedious either. There's much more movement involved with swiping and to swipe you literally have to swipe from the bottom of the screen bruh so how are you complaining about it being at the bottom when both are. Pressing a button is simply less than swiping and holding a particular way to achieve the desired result like app history. Really pressing a button is now tedious to you bruh listen to yourself. To see see app history you literally have to swipe and hold to see it using swipe gestures while with buttons you just click quick that's it and you're there real quick. You can even continuously press the button to switch apps. Buttons at the bottom of the screen are rather easy to reach, if they were at the top of the screen then that would be an issue with such a large device which is why people complain about iphones forcing them to drag from the very top for notifications and quick panel. Buttons are good, quick and easy very convenient.

      @VelianSpeaksTech Fair enough. I'm really not sure about the two main Settings you changed here at all. SystemUI is where you are costantly finding lags. You surely want that, if nothing else, to be as snappy as possible, don't restrict it, it is what is lagging.
      Also, Suspending execution for your cached apps -Disabled? Well, they are already cached and using some little RAM just being so. Disabling Suspend Execution is surely assigning more memory to these already cached apps, rather than sending it to use elsewhere in the lagging System. This should be Enabled, I think.

    • @VelianSpeaksTech
      @VelianSpeaksTech  Год назад

      Some people mainly on MIUI claim that enabling suspended execution super improved their battery life re the System UI, actually, the lags originate mostly from the launcher, ie Home UI, the default Sammy one. With other launchers lag is almost gone...
      But it could be a combo between System UI and the launcher.
      It's annoying as hell and Snapdragon won't fix that imho... let's see.

    • @d4nd31o
      @d4nd31o Год назад

      @VelianSpeaksTech Other launchers don't(without Root) integrate directly into the Android System Recents, which as of 9/P, is the default Recents behaviour. Running Nova, or Lawnchair etc.(without Root) still runs the System based Recents.
      System launcher should **always** be preferable in this case for fluidity.
