Yuna can't send someone to the farplane unless the person wants to go or is so weak that they have no choice. Sir Auron made a choice to stay until his job was done. Riku didn't go because of her beliefs that those who passed on should be kept in memory, while Auron couldn't go because once the dead enter the farplane, there is no coming back.

I think my favorite moment with this game was this boss fight, because of how I ended up beating Seymour here. He had managed to kill every party member on the field but Auron, and had earlier in the fight cast reflect on Auron, and tried to finish the battle with a cast of Flare. Flare bounced off Auron and killed him, if he had attacked me with anything else the fight was gonna be over haha.
On my most recent playthrough everyone was pretty worn down and he was about to use Total Annihilation - I summoned Valefor to hopefully take the heat but instead her overdrive got him low enough that his own fucking chariot killed him.
"Allow me to say something to the last Ronso before I leave. Yours was..truly a gallant race. They threw themselves at me to bar my path. One, after another." Such a cold, bloodthirsty moment from Seymour. Glee in committing genocide (even though the Ronso weirdly respawn in 10-2 which dilutes this plot twist). An underrated villain. Reminiscent of Sephiroth in certain ways, though I know he's meant to parallel Yuna. I hope one day they remake FF10, as I'd love to see this scene with some facial animation to match the amazing voice acting.

Lol the only way I’ve defeated him was putting my all my Aeons to their overdrive and just kept using it whenever I have the chance to lol (basically using haste on Yuna and let her summon)
When I took Yojimbo, I didn't knew about Zanmato, so I had gone to fight Seymour Flux for the first time, I was with Grand Summon from Yuna and I never used Yojimbo so I decided to try him on that boss fight with the Grand Summon, then I paid him and he suddenly used Zanmato (Yes, the first time I paid him, he used Zanmato), when Seymour got wrekt I just went "lol, that was easy", now I see in the comments that I just got lucky and this boss fight is really tough lol
@Shane Douglas trio of 9999 my man. many ways to make some but my favorite is lv 3 sphere and underdogs secret. Grind for a couple hours, make sure you know how to do bio, haste. Bio would really really help son, believe me
This and Tekken Tag Team blew me away back then - it truly was the golden age of console gaming and by extension, single player, and split screen games. Don't get me wrong, ps1 had some amazing games (as did n64) but the ps2 was when things really started to blow minds and create visuals with more of a basis in "reality."
ps1 n ps2 games are better than today games. so much that they keep getting remake and remasters. make no mistake re2 in 98 was way more of a game than remake today
This cutscene is so clear to me, even after so many years since I've played... Maybe because of how many times I had to watch it after dying to OP Seymour. X_X
When I was little I watch my big brother playing and when I saw lulu my heart fell in love. When I saw her dress and her attacks I WANTED to cosplay as her. Now I am older and hopefully I can get this game on my next birthday cause I got ff9 which I ask as a birthday gift.
Ugh...a boss battle so tough, it resulted in two things: 1) I started over and *made sure* I leveled up appropriately. 2) I vow(ed) to be overleveled from now on until that point, just for the sole pleasure of kicking his butt.
6:10 I hated that move so god damn much, then I realized that letting him use that move let me see how he battled, he attempts to kill you faster than most bosses will try, putting Tidus, Rikku, and Lulu was my best shot, I didn't use Yuna's Aeons until I was sure he was screwed, then I used their overdrives and killed them all, Bahamut was the first boss I used because its overdrive does pretty well against him, then I went down into the damage levels of their overdrives. Don't switch out so much, that let's him attack you, don't waste aeons or let him attack you much, use Haste to prevent that. Otherwise, you did a pretty good job of kicking his ass...
Dude, no fucking way!!!! That is almost the same thing I did lol. On my 3rd playthrough (probably 5 years after my second and maybe 10 after my first) I did jus that. Hours upon hours at the beginning islands and hours in the plains just grinding. Had auron casting magic and Yuna dishing out punishing melee attacks 🤣🤣🤣
To this day, I still can't tell if this battle was really easy, or if I was just really lucky. My first try ended with the total annihilation, but my second try I succeeded without Seymour even managing to use it. I don't know, but Lulu's bio did extra damage, Auron got lucky a number of times dealing like 9999 damage and the finishing blow was with Shiva who used her overdrive.
+Date Masamune I feel the same way, My Friend. I always see Everyone say that Flux is usually on the Boss scale between Hard; to ;Ridiculously hard;. I beat it My very first go around, and while I don't remember MUCH, I DO remember that I wasn't all that high leveled at all. If ANY of the Seymour battles gave ME -any- trouble, it was the very FIRST fight where He is able to summon Anima and is supported in battle by two other Guado. Him summoning Anima would ALWAYS end up taking Me out as I couldn't do it in time. Funny how things like that are, seeing as how this technically 3rd battle against Seymour, as well the next and last Omnis never gave Me a lick of trouble.
total annihilation fucked me up every time i remembered spending my school summer leveling up just to beat him and i had to use protect on auron to barely survive that annihilation
That Full Life ability and Cross Cleave always ends everyone, and my character's stats are higher than this person's. :/ Though I dont have the various skills. I do have flare, which helps a bit. but only able for 3 uses.
So is he using a "machina" like he fused with it right? And the boss battle before was that more a spirit thing? Cause he sacrificed the souls of his henchmen and Auron's friend
just finished the HD remaster the other day was so high level i melted him lol ... Felt harder when i was younger... but i was walking through it ... waiting for the FF12 HD now just a week or 2 to go ...
first time i faced it i think i got slaughtered. these days i grind more than miley cyrus throughout the whole game... i think i took less than 1000 dmg on the total annaihilator last time... then again, my memory isn't to precise, guess I'll have to replay it 100% again to make sure... what? if I'm going to do it then I'm going all the way, penance or bust👊
Usually after Seymour uses Lance of Atrophy the character suppose to have Zombie status then he casts Full Life on the character that has Zombie status. I think the person playing has Zombie ward armor on.

Bio would really really help son, believe me
This boss fight always kicked my ass. Until I realized you can actually poison the boss.
God I’ve seen this cutscene so many times an grinded at mt gagazet
What in the fresh blue hell did Seymour even turn into anyway
“PS2 graphics are incredible and the characters expressions are so full of life!” - me in 2001. Then 1:11 happens, lol
This and Tekken Tag Team blew me away back then - it truly was the golden age of console gaming and by extension, single player, and split screen games. Don't get me wrong, ps1 had some amazing games (as did n64) but the ps2 was when things really started to blow minds and create visuals with more of a basis in "reality."
ps1 n ps2 games are better than today games. so much that they keep getting remake and remasters. make no mistake re2 in 98 was way more of a game than remake today
i remember i got hard locked at this part so bad. This was honestly the hardest storyline boss if you didnt grind.
This cutscene is so clear to me, even after so many years since I've played... Maybe because of how many times I had to watch it after dying to OP Seymour. X_X
"Save some for Kimahri"
"Save soma Kalamari for me".
Who else heard this?
When I was little I watch my big brother playing and when I saw lulu my heart fell in love. When I saw her dress and her attacks I WANTED to cosplay as her. Now I am older and hopefully I can get this game on my next birthday cause I got ff9 which I ask as a birthday gift.
From this point, i feel the real difficulty, then its been Yunalesca
Ugh...a boss battle so tough, it resulted in two things:
1) I started over and *made sure* I leveled up appropriately.
2) I vow(ed) to be overleveled from now on until that point, just for the sole pleasure of kicking his butt.
Seymour: Death awaits you!
if a aeon fights with him.
So uh, why didn't the HD remaster introduce a "skip scene" option? Cause uh, yeah...
Full Life- MISS
Full Life- MISS
Full Life- MISS
Full Life- MISS
It's as if he knows he's truly dead
I think i'm HD Remaster his Lance of Antrophy doesn't apply zombie anymore, or the guy has some resistances.
FeelsDankMan Clap nope it applies zombie still. I just came to RUclips because I keep getting killed. He probably has zombieproof armor on
@@xcho3enx0nex def zombie proof. I'm still getting clapped by full life...wtf
He has Zombie proof on his gear, no doubt about. I'd know from personal experience.
When you thought this 3rd Seymour took you a lifetime to kill, Dark Aeons happened...
You’ll get so much easier fight if you leveling yuna up, prepare all her aeon’s overdrive in advance and boom, overkill.
My strategy for most of the game is to complete everyone's sphere grid before leaving the besaid islands.
You should try a no sphere grid play through.
just use the tonberry trick in calm lands arena and get 100 sphere levels in an hour :)
Don't even need half a grid to beat the game let alone Seymour. In fact you can survive most of the way with average grid and tactics to assist.
I died 3 times to him and just thought "how am i supposed to beat him?". Then i randomly summoned yojinbo and he just one shot him 😂😂😂
To this day, I still can't tell if this battle was really easy, or if I was just really lucky.
The first fight vs seymour is easy when he summons Anima you can summon Shiva and with Shiva you rek Anima quite easily
Alex MaGanda I was honestly shocked when that happened. I did not expect Shiva to be able to defeat it so easily.
total annihilation fucked me up every time i remembered spending my school summer leveling up just to beat him and i had to use protect on auron to barely survive that annihilation
When I was a kid, my mind always heard "Son of a Jecht"
It wouldve been really nice to see a first phase with just Tidus & Rikku until the rest came
JRPG Logic: Death just makes you harder to kill.
I'm like really stuck in this boss battle right now, thanks for the tip!!
I beat him by using Bio on him as Lulu then casting protect and she'll on everyone and making sure zombie wasn't on
This is actually the hardest form to battle
That Full Life ability and Cross Cleave always ends everyone, and my character's stats are higher than this person's. :/ Though I dont have the various skills. I do have flare, which helps a bit. but only able for 3 uses.
When you see Total Annihilation you know YOU'RE FUCKED!
When fighting him recently i just blasted him with overdrive after overdrive and boom, dead... well re-dead
I walked up that snow hill so many damn times....
It maybe funny, but using the spell "Silence" will work on this boss...lol! XD
Really?...
Silence! You must not give them hints!
Maaaaassa demais, duvido muito que eu viva o bastante pra ver outro jogo tão incrível como este
So is he using a "machina" like he fused with it right? And the boss battle before was that more a spirit thing? Cause he sacrificed the souls of his henchmen and Auron's friend
Moe: Seymour Flux? Hey everybody! I wanna Seymour Flux!
just finished the HD remaster the other day was so high level i melted him lol ... Felt harder when i was younger... but i was walking through it ... waiting for the FF12 HD now just a week or 2 to go ...
what's the name of the music that plays behind Seymour when he talks?
first time i faced it i think i got slaughtered. these days i grind more than miley cyrus throughout the whole game...
i think i took less than 1000 dmg on the total annaihilator last time... then again, my memory isn't to precise, guess I'll have to replay it 100% again to make sure...
what? if I'm going to do it then I'm going all the way, penance or bust👊
nich2710 Def worth fighting the dark aeons and Penance for sure
I hope this game gets a remake like final fantasy 7 did. Probably they’ll remake this 15 or 20 years from now.
Aeon Places (The Elementals)
------------------
Magic: Valafor
Fire: Ifrit
Lighting: Ixon
Ice: Shiva
Magic (2):Bahaumant
(Unknown Elemental):Yojimbo
Oblivion: Anima
(Unknown Elemental): Magus Sisters
Most badass fight intro ever!
How does the full life attack miss? Damn thing keeps killing me.
Usually after Seymour uses Lance of Atrophy the character suppose to have Zombie status then he casts Full Life on the character that has Zombie status. I think the person playing has Zombie ward armor on.
Use silence attack, bio, and aeon overdrives for attacks and use protect and haste for protection. He'll be toast after a while.
Or just use the samurai's overdrive. He will die in 10 seconds.
I grinded for weeks to gain so many sphere stats
Didn't realize this was so hard
Rikku's mix skill makes this fight soooo much easier. Provided you have the items to mix that is.
I'm obsessed with this game I play it allmost everyday! I'm not finished with Final Fantasy X On PS3, but I started
Final Fantasy X-2 anyways on PS3 lol
cada personaje tiene anti zombie en esta pelea?
