Hi, Pavel. I've been watching a lot of the videos where you create nice spoons with a "stamp" or "punch" that you made from a bar of solid steel which you shaped and then tempered. All the while, I was wondering if I could make a similar stamp or punch by casting reinforced epoxy in a mold. Then, this morning, I found and watched this particular video. Not only is it possible--you did it! I do have a couple of questions: 1. I"m sure the epoxy punch won't last as long as the steel one, but can I make at least a dozen or so spoons with it before the reinforced epoxy starts to crack and/or crumble? 2. In this video, you formed your spoon(s) by hammering the epoxy punch down into the flat brass "blank" that you put into the mold. But in other videos, you have used a vice to PRESS the punch into the blank, thereby shaping it. Would an epoxy punch last longer if I used the vice method? 3. Why do you line your wooden spoon molds with melted, recycled plastic instead of epoxy resin? Would epoxy work too? Thank you so much for sharing all your skills and creativity with us. Best, Chris
Congratulations ! I'm glad that you like the video and it's useful! A punch made of epoxy resin can last for 20-50 baits, but the brass must be soft, and you need to press it in a vice, the matrix made of plastic lasts a very long time, I recommend making it from corks from plastic flasks, I will make a new video soon, as soon as I make the punch from ordinary epoxy resin and sand, I will show the whole process, thank you for watching!

There is an idea to make a duck on a pike with feathers, but this bait is summer, I will definitely do it later
