I really wish you were able to get some time on the 2023 Race Edition. The KYB front and rear is superb and very well balanced. I think you would like it a lot better considering your track background.
My friend just bought the 23 Beta 390 street legal. We went out to the High Desert on Saturday. The motor is quick powerful and really peppy. The forks are way to soft for anything more than trail riding. The front brakes are super touchy, partly because the fork is so soft and diving. Stiffer springs on the fork and it would combat the touchiness of the front brakes and would really make this bike completely awesome !
I screwed around with my 22 390 rrs changed to springs for my weight still not all around good , Ended up taking forks to race Teck to get gold valves , compression adj at bottom of forks now and rebound on top. back shock stock Zf lft alone , Totally Happy now .
The RR and RR-S have Sachs front and rear. The RE (Race Edition) has KYB front and rear. I have 2022 390 RR-S. It is super smooth. It works great stock. Like they said in the video, it will bottom out on bigger jumps. Like any other motorcycle, it’s best to spring for your weight.
A segment on 300 models differences would be great. RX, RR Race, RR. Likewise the 4t's 500 RR-S, 480 RR, 480 RR Race. Don't be afraid to spin a few laps on the track, and take the RR-S on the pavement.
They don't make a 300 4stk and the 200 chassis is the 125 chassis, but the 200 has the electric start and has a lot more power than you'd think. I have a 2018 300 rr race, and it is amazing, but I think my next one will be a 200. Btw I rode the xtrainer, and that suspension is so much softer than any bike I've had it actually surprised and kinda scared me in a couple of places.
Calling the Xtrainer an old guy/beginner bike is misleading and antiquated. It's been said since it's inception...it's a very capable and fast singletrack bike derived from trials riding. It's for all ages and riding styles, not just for old dudes and green horns.
Cool line, emerging brand 👍

Yes. The KYB suspension system is much, much better that the Sach suspension which is terrible. Glad Beta finally listened to their customers!

Looking for a dual sport!
What brand forks and shock is on each bike?
I know many riders who hated the first 3 inches of travel. On gravel roads it’s shakes your teeth loose!

I don't need alot of pwr so I'd like to see a Beta 300rr 4t. Maybe in a 200 2t frame for compactness.

Any available in Minnesota?
Yes! Look for local dealers
Be cool to see you spin a few laps on a SX Track please.
Why would they take an offroad bike onto a SX track? What would you want to see next, a supermoto bike doing hillclimbs ?
@@aussiehondalegend The Beta's are plenty capable of track use. Don't let the lights fool you.
