There’s an item called Miquellas Great Rune which is a consumable, use it and it removes the effect after your grabbed.

@@nakiangoderich3014I know. I lucky got him after like 80-100 tries. I may have spammed the ability on blasphemous also but I don’t care, I still had to dodge everything, I count that as a fair win

Both. Grabs you one and you'll have that light above you. If he grabs you again, it's instant death similar to deathblight.
