Bolan and Bowie were teenage blokes in London and seemed to have had quite a competition on who would become the first to make it as a star. Bolan was actually a bigger star earlier on but Bowie surpassed him in popularity by 1973. They seemed to have had a falling out as friends during this time and didn't make up until Bowie decided to be on Marc's show in 1977 right before the car accident.

I find the way she talks about the car crash oddly detached - almost like it wasn't her at the wheel. She seems to blame it as an accident hot spot - maybe - but people usually crash at accident hot spots for a reason - not paying attention!
I have no respect for Gloria, she knew he was married and flaunted it. Then she says the baby she had was Marcs. She was driving for over 45 minutes at 4 in the morning, I would say she finally fell asleep at the wheel. She will get no sympathy from me, as far as I am concerned she was the end of Marc Bolan.

He’s own parents said to June if she hadn’t of left none of this would of happened. Personally I think at that age he was old enough to make his own Decisions. Marc and Gloria were both married when they started up ! He even said in an interview he couldn’t stay faithful because in the industry there were plenty of women there to corrupt him and he liked being corrupted. And tis was while Gloria was pregnant with Rolan .

Yes it would appear she did, Seems she liked to party, he needed the opposite of that. One of these documentaries said the car had very loose lug nuts, barely keeping one of the wheels on, the car had just been serviced a few days prior. Makes me wonder because many were shocked when his Will was read and his millions were nowhere to be found, his finances were a mess & probably much of it went to back taxes but there’s still a trust somewhere worth allot & his music is still earning money, I wonder where it goes.

I always believed that an artist becomes more of a legend after their death! What would have been Sid Vicious without his death? Or Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Kurt Cobain?????
