By seeing this video, one of my friend ordered a Veena from this person (Mr. Peter). Transferred advance amount to his account in March and he offered to finish it in 20 days. However he still not received the Veena even in June. Now Mr. Peter does not answer phone call also. So please take care.
He is a dishonest person. Do not give him any advance payment. He does not deliver as promised. He produces veenas of 2nd or 3rd quality but charges the price of a first-quality instrument.
I am from Thanjavur. After watching his video, I gave him an advance payment of 5000 rupees. It has been 15 days, but he hasn't even started the work. I've seen his previous work, and I'm dissatisfied because he used too many joints in those veenas. So, I asked for a refund of my advance payment. Furthermore, he charges a much higher amount compared to others who charge 500 or 1000 rupees. However, he has refused to refund my money. After significant effort, I managed to get my refund with the help of my friend. He spoke harshly. It was a very bad experience.
There are many people in Thanjavur who make good veenas. I recommend going to them and avoiding this person
