If I’m not looking too much into this, I really like how sans’ way of ‘capturing you’ is initiating a dialogue section which you cannot move during. It feels so in character due to how sans is shown to have a good understanding of video game logic

Only a few people know, and those who do know probably forgot, but there are unused sprites in the game of Sans eating ice cream. Essentially, if you did a speedrun..." where basically, if you managed to speedrun up until the judgement halls, sans would be there to block you from continuing your dirty little tricks, robbing you of 1 minute of your life. >"But we can just punchcard-skip that." I'm not done yet. We then combine this with Crossbones from TS!Underswap thwarting your IOU-skip in his room. That would make sans the most annoying 4th wall breaking obstacle.
I don't usually check out Sans and Papyrus content, but this one got to me. I forget how much I love the skelebros dynamic, forgetting mainly cause it's always overshadowed by one or both trying to stop the "evil human". Sans and Papyrus really work best together when they're just being, well, brothers, silly brothers at that, and this animation is a great example of it, or what I'd prefer to see, anyways. Can't wait to see what else you're cooking!
I love the gags in this, like the painted pit, Papyrus getting trapped in his own net, and actually using the gauntlet of deadly terror! Great work on this!

There's something potentially concerning I've noticed: Papyrus claims that he intends to claim the human's SOUL, meaning that he is, to some extent, aware of what monsterkind intends to do with the human (killing them). It makes logical sense since, as a royal guardsman, Papyrus would be informed on the real purpose of capturing the human, but it makes me wonder if Flowey did a bit more to him than just allowing him to accomplish his dreams.
Flowey probably told papyrus that souls are still consious and therefore, removing it from a human doesnt fully kill them lmao. Which is why he's much more comfortable with killing you. As "we can just befriend the soul"
I just wanna point out the fact that during the sans fight at 11:45, he doesnt move. I feel like this is a nod to that tumblr theory about every single monster having a sprite animation to indicate that they want to kill you, but papyrus doesn't because he genuniely doesnt want to kill or hurt you. So sans here doesnt either, which is why he doesnt have an animation
@@aaamogusthespiderever2566he got the thing wrong im sure, what he means is that every monster that is still isn’t trying the boss monsters all having moving sprites, for example toriel is moving because she is concentrating on NOT to kill you you can notice most other boss monsters are moving, and that’s because they’re concentrating on killing you or winning however papyrus doesnt move. he stays still the entire fight in undertale. this implies he’s barely trying when he fights you, so the theory suggests that papyrus could easily kill you if he wanted to (sorry if it didn’t make sense, i explained it poorly)

I really love the dynamics both sans and papyrus had, while papyrus is seriously trying his best against frisk, sans just like he said during the fight is accutaly less lazy because of how papyrus is doing his best as a royal guard and that like he said he is working too much, so seen sans been less then just the sleepy joke bone man and accutaly trying to help his bro but while staying you know..the lazy funny bone is very cool And i love how papyrus also seem a bit less too kind and careful since he accutaly use his traps while chasing you and clearly seem less worried about capturing you and what's going to happen next but again like sans you clearly stills can tell that still papyrus Overall i just love how these two are made here

If this turned out to be actually a fangame, i must say this look's really good. I'm not exacly sure, since there is a Royal!Papyrus fight, but it would be cool to have more than just papyrus fight. Plus the animation is really cool aswell.
