Such a cool truck and love the way you keep a balance between retaining its classic appeal and subtle upgrades to allow it to continue to be of practical use.
Very cool I have a m37 my self have had it for 25+ years...I definitely go 1 more pully on boom...winch is rated at 5k with full wire unspooled with few wraps left on spool ...I estimate maybe 800 lbs single line...with 3 lines you be around 2000 pounds lift on boom
These are all good changes to the M37 that will help it in the modern world. At the same time they do not detract from the overall vintage look. Thanks Steve, great stuff. 👍👍
Also some newer (year 2000s that i kno)military trucks run the same 3 way light switch but it's push button !! Very cool upgrade and it's direct fit !!!
the bolt at the end of the cable at the 7:44 mark looks a little small and could be the weakest link ...................but it might be bigger than it looks. cool truck

I really love this very sensitive upgrade - 👍🏻
Great upgrades. This very capable wrecker is going to be absolutely amazing when you’re all finished. Nice work.
The Dodge Wrecker has come a long way... don't stop now!!!
Great video..Man.
Steve, your wrecker is my favorite truck in your collection.
Looking forward to the Clutch replacement vid!
Thanks Steve.

Nice winch set-up. Unless you're going to be lifting some really heavy vehicles, I reckon that winch will be fine!
did you see the 1948 Triumph being sold on the most recent WD Detailing video ?
In 1986 a place called Barstow equipment had about 20 of those for sale. They had 6 cylinder nissan diesels in them.
Dude this thing is fricken awesome. I can't wait to see what the next upgrades are gonna be
Great content, thanks!
Like the work.
