Sylosis is so, SO underrated man. It’s criminal they get no love from Chanel 40 Liquid Metal or 37 octane. Man. These guys have been my fav band for like YEARS dude
This song is a fucking belter!! So well written, that vocal melody its amazing! I've been in love with this album, Sylosis really knocked it out of the park on this one, the production us just the icing on the cake.
@@dani_i8942 I definitely agree that the songs are more straightforward, but i disagree that it makes them less interesting. But that's the beauty of music, it hits us(or doesn't) in our own way. @@EmmanuelHernandez-ue9dp Edge of the Earth is one of my favourite albums of all time and my favourite Sylosis album. A Sign of Things to Come is my second favourite Sylosis album at the moment.
Amazing song and always love the emotive side of Josh that trickles into a piece of every Sylosis album. Quiescent is still my favorite of them but this one, Abandon, and the Monolith hidden track are all great. This song puts me in a Passages mood 🤙
This album was the first I'd heard of Sylosis, and i was already very impressed by the time I got to "Poison for the Lost", but the drop on this song just took the album to a whole new level. It hits me in my feels. This was the first time since I discovered Gojira's "From Mars to Sirius" album a few years ago that an album left me speechless. "A Sign of Things to Come" doesnt have a single bad song, and in my opinion, is easily the best album of the 2020s so far.
I haven't been able to stop listening to this specific song. even when I listen to the album I have to loop this song a couple times. The Zetra remix has also had the same treatment.

I first came across sylosis with the cycle of suffering, and hearing this both brings back memories and blows my mind. They really killed it with this one. 👍
Discovered this album and this song literally yesterday. I've been going through a personal kind of hell, and this song makes me feel like I'm not doing it alone. Those chorus lyrics sum it all up. Awesome album overall Sylosis.
It is just curious how this video came up the same day I had a depression crisis and had to go all by my own to look for help. I really felt the lyrics, and you just saved me, because I didn't feel that alone anymore. So thank you 🖤 I need to see you guys live, please come to Colombia, we need a Latin American tour! 🇨🇴
@@AkitaMetal Back on the days where Edge of the Earth was my favorite album I felt the same, so I know what you mean. I truly enjoy this band and can't wait to be able to see them live.
@@debbiestokes9861 I really love Monolith too. Hard to pick a favourite. I plan on doing guitar cover of “Apparitions” off EOTE.. I did cover “Where The Sky Ends”. Playing it adds more beauty to the songs. I hope you are feeling better btw, depression sucks. 👍

Been saying this for over 13 years as well.
Write. More. Songs. Like. This!!! So good. Not a huge fan of the remix but this adds many cool dimensions for Sylosis!
Gives me chills. Best song ever by them?
One of the best, at least in my opinion.

New Sylosis is a step back from Monolith. The more straightforward aim to be heavier seems to sucked the creativity that made them interesting.

Said it once and I'll say it again, THIS is the best track on the album.
I feel like anyone can say this about 90% of the album and they'd be right. I fucking love this song. Thorns is my favorite though.
This one and A Godless Throne. Thorns and the title track are up there, too.
You are not wrong.
@@Lutherian with you there, thorns then absent a close second
The second half of this album (starting with this song) is pure gold. Everything works. It has everything.
I like every song on the album but this track just breaks it up nicely. Absent has so much emotion and power behind it.
Favourite track on the album
