- In this episode, I will be removing the forks and radiator from the bike and inspecting them for any bends/ possible damage. The front and rear wheels are also being removed in preparation for the new wheels to be mounted on the bike! How about checking the inner tubes for straightness, too? The outer tubes are stronger than the inner ones, thats why upside down forks are stronger than conventional ones. So the inner tubes bend first...

@@Werwolf2k11 Basic mechanics knowledge... But here you go: If you push or tap on the part which is not supported the small balls inside the bearing push themselves into the bearing races creating indentations and deforming the bearing race.
