This time of year, it is extremely HOT! There's no rain yet, just constant build up. Down on the river with no breeze and no shade, we and everything on the boat were COOKING!!! The GoPro's over heated on several occasions, so I am incredibly thankful we got the footage of this most amazing Barramundi.
We lost the first 3 big fish!!! It was extremely frustrating! So, I was relieved when Johnno finally landed this beauty!
The main highway out of / into town, people cross over the bridge on their way to the ultimate Kimberley experience of catching the famous BARRAMUNDI ... if only they knew ;)

Seen you guys launching the other day at the Jetty. My wife is a nurse on a contract at the jail. We are in Derby till 5th of Jan. Love the tinnie launch down the bank 👌

Welcome to Derby :) it's a hard time of the year, so HOT and no rain, but we love it here this time of the year. Didn't do so good last trip from the Jetty, came home with two mud crabs only, no fish.
