I was watching this video while getting ready, and my 5 year old cousin is here and she was watching the video with me and she says, "wow she is so pretty" it hit me so hard that discrimination isn't something you grow up knowing, its something that is definitely taught. I didn't even bother telling her that Jeffree is actually a man, all I did was agree with her and tell her that yeah she is.
my little brother watches james charles and jeffree star and has no concept of like "boys shouldnt wear makeup!!1!11" and its so refreshing. every time i bring up either of these guys in a conversation with older people or even some people my age im met with "woah... a BOY?? that wears MAKEUP???" i wish i grew up the way my brother did, with constant representation of things like this. i wish everyone did. i think we would all love each other a little bit more.

he would HATE Korean makeup omgggg like most Korean foundations are medium coverage and he usually goes for full, the foundations are slightly warm/yellowish/greenish to match the skin tones of the asian people who buy them, etc.

Jeffree can u TEST OUT the HACk called Jamsa its a korean trick where you put lots of baby powder ontop of your foundation and dunk your face in cold water for 15-30 secs. Its supposed to leave your base flawless and oil free all day! Check out thataylaa's video she tried it too!

Wow, I never thought of it like that before (must have taken you a while to add that all up)- That's probably nothing to him, he'd buy ONE product at that price point if there was enough hype around it the . Craziest thing though is that he has had same effect..meaning had a perfect makeup look, using only cheapy ELF products- so sadly we cannot even say "oh, he just looks so good because of all the high end brands" because that couldn't be farther from the truth. Make-up really is an art- no matter how many of these tutorials I watch or products I buy my face never comes out that perfect and its so annoying. I think you tube has seriously changed me over the years and I am a LOT better than when I was in high school- I have even tricked a few people into thinking I know what I'm doing here. Basically though, I just have to face it, I'm no Jeffree Star and never will be....
