No refrão, o homem canta "(Slave to love)". No refrão, o homem canta novamente "(Slave to love)".

Per Lunheim I feel you brother , 1985 and my Todd and I listened to this wonderful music from a beautiful time in life ... we were 25 ... no, there will never be another Bryan Ferry ... I lost my Todd in 1995.....
Similarly, I was introduced to Bryan Ferry by this beautiful new student to our high school, Vina. We were 18, she was my best friend and I fell instantly in love... we went to universities 25 miles apart, hung out all the time, I was with her when her baby sister died and her world fell apart - she went on to study medicine in Holland, and I moved back to the Caribbean - and even to this day, even though we drifted apart so very many years ago, hers is the only face I see when I play this song - she was my first true love.
Listened to this album RELIGIOUSLY every day on the bus to and from school! boys and girls! Best album ever written! when I was in 7th snd 8th grade 1985/86 got me through some bad bulling years and made me the Hopeless Romantic I am today... I'm 6 ft 3 240 lbs. best athlete anybody's ever known in my town.. this man and his bandmates are by far the best Lyricist and musicians on planet Earth!
I am 54 now and I remember this song by Bryan Ferry came out in an episode of Miami Vice tv series back in the 1980s with Don Johnson and Phillip Michael Thomas produced by Michael Mann for NBC
My best friend has passed unexpectedly leaving my head reeling 😢😢😢but this song kept playing on my head ....RIP Lungile my friend.....Miss you every day 😢😢😢😢😢
First time I ever heard this song was in the movie 9 1/2 Weeks. Absolutely fabulous, and second only to Avalon. What I wouldn't give to have Bryan Ferry sing these 2 songs to me in person. *swoon*.
My dad played this when we were headed home from the countryside earlier this month, there was a very beautiful sunset to accompany it and it honestly felt like a movie scene. I just wish the traffic hadn't been there to truly enjoy it! LOL. Lovely song.
Bryan Ferry is absolutely amazing, he has a voice like no other and always dressed to kill, there will never be anyone to compare to him, absolutely outstanding, l remember walking into the Speakeasy in Wakefield and Slave to Love was playing, makes me want to cry, bring back those wonderful times.
I've always absolutely loved this song, it's so beautiful both lyrically & musically...it so encompasses the 80s to me. Definitely one of my top "happy/sad" songs!
Amazing music and talented singer. Brian Ferry and Roxy music made a great mark on our teens and young adulthood, just like other bands in the 80s. Love that era of music and love everything about that decade in entertainment in general. Glad to have been part of it.

She grabs your soul with this track that voice is so amazing. I loved this as a teenager and now as a 60 you realise what it all means. Joan your voice is like a silk scarf pure class.🫶
I'm happy to see that "Kingsman" brought this song and artist attention it richly deserves. A underrated performer, I think I have almost all of Bryan Ferry's albums. I'm probably dating myself if I say "CDs" but I still like having a physical format with liner notes I can read. As for the song, it's timeless. I hope it continues to be recognized by people and used in entertainment media throughout the years. Perhaps another movie will bring it to the fore again in a couple of years? I'd like to think that RUclips has instrumental in exposing younger generations to music past.

How the strong get weak
And the rich get poor
Slave to love

We're the restless hearted
Not the chained and bound
The sky is burning
A sea of flame
Though your world is changing

Slave to love
oh, slave to love
Slave to love (na na na na, na na na na)
slave to love (No I can't escape, i'm a slave to love)
The storm is breaking
Or so it seems
We're too young to reason
Too grown up to dream
Now spring is turning
Your face to mine
I can hear your laughter
I can see your smile

I feel you brother , 1985 and my Todd and I listened to this wonderful music from a beautiful time in life ... we were 25 ... no, there will never be another Bryan Ferry ... I lost my Todd in 1995.....
This song is magic. It makes us go back in time !
Frank Ocean is even more classy.
Kingsman reminded me of how awesome this song is! Slave To Music!
I can relate! .
Personally, 85-6 , is a time I'd rather forget! .

Beautiful, timeless song...and no one could have sung it better than you Bryan. ❤
First time I ever heard this song was in the movie 9 1/2 Weeks. Absolutely fabulous, and second only to Avalon. What I wouldn't give to have Bryan Ferry sing these 2 songs to me in person. *swoon*.
Mickey rourke in 9 1/ 2 weeks and this song are a top tier combination 👌 ❤
@@skaiavarna7340 couldn't agree more 🤗
@@skaiavarna7340 pure nostalgia...😌
I will play this song on my wedding day ❤❤

Gilson Shogum verdade

Gilson Shogum verdade betania
Pure class 🇬🇧🏴
My dad played this when we were headed home from the countryside earlier this month, there was a very beautiful sunset to accompany it and it honestly felt like a movie scene. I just wish the traffic hadn't been there to truly enjoy it! LOL.
Lovely song.
This music stirs all kinds of emotions. The man is a legend
2023 eu ouvindo uma obra prima dessa ❤
Best song ever made!
My husband introduced me to him. His song played when we left as man and wife at our wedding.
Love it. I introduced my wife to Brian too and we played this song and Avalon at our wedding.
Too cool to drool. Hope you two are still lovebirds.
Fantastic memory, how cool and soo romantic x
What a lovely memory ... I suspect you may have danced many times to the song.
I've always absolutely loved this song, it's so beautiful both lyrically & musically...it so encompasses the 80s to me. Definitely one of my top "happy/sad" songs!

Lies again? Sin Lust Humiliating Greed
So true...
Altijd mooi song al ben sad &happy .ja, en je man hebt, slave to love.
Obrigado, meu Deus !
Amazing music and talented singer. Brian Ferry and Roxy music made a great mark on our teens and young adulthood, just like other bands in the 80s. Love that era of music and love everything about that decade in entertainment in general. Glad to have been part of it.
Fevereiro de 2024 curtindo essa lindo musica
My favourite Bryan Ferry song 💓

Só me encontro nessas antigas ♥

Like with almost every Bryan Ferry song at the end you’re left numb overwhelmed with emotions
She grabs your soul with this track that voice is so amazing. I loved this as a teenager and now as a 60 you realise what it all means. Joan your voice is like a silk scarf pure class.🫶
Underrated masterpiece. Love this whole album and still have my well worn vinyl copy 😎
I'd like to think that RUclips has instrumental in exposing younger generations to music past.
as músicas dos anos 80 eram sensacionais!
Concordo plenamente
