question: will the lacing 'stud' (dunno what to call it) that holds the lace and sandal snaps, breaks or maybe ripped after a heavy usage- running specifically? im interested in this & warrior model...the only assurance that i want to know before i order it.
It's not likely that it would be break during running or any other usage. I personally run 1000 miles a year in the sandals and I never have any problems with breaking. If they did break you can simply contact us and we can send you a replacement part. If the parts wear out from normal use you can purchase replacement parts on our website. Regarding the insole and outsole posts and toeplug on the chargers; they typically exceed the life of the sole since they are countersunk. The Warriors can wear out more quickly because the countersinking is just the removal of the tread since they are so thin. Inspite of this I usually get about 500 plus miles out of my Warriors, and this exclusively running. You may get more if you are just wearing them around town. Hope this helps, let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks, Josh
We also offer Warriors if you are looking for something a little thinner. They use a 5mm Vibram Newflex sole. Of those 5mm the tread accounts for 2 mm of it. That means they are extremely flexible and provide a lot of ground feel. That being said even though the Vibram Newflex we use on the Warriors is 1 mm thinner than the Vibram Morflex we use on the chargers they are not the same material. It is more of an apples and oranges comparison. Vibram Morflex is less dense than Newflex. Morflex shapes up quicker and offers a little bit of shock absorption. Plus as it wears in it gets really comfortable, they really get better with age until they finally wear out. Hope this is helpful. Let me know if you have any other questons? Josh
@@Shammasandals thanks for the inside will definitely try this brand. Am a new be for minimalistic running all I have tried is xero shoes but curios about other brands. Still on my list tho. Thanks

6 mm still to thick compared to the 5 mm xero shoe offers
