You said you tried superglue so I suppose you know that but for the case you didn't: Superglue in combination with bakingsoda makes for a strong mixture to add on to exactly places like this. It is so strong, in my experience it could withstand the forces in play there as it's almost as strong as it would have been if melted there in the first place. I'm going to try it and try to remember to get back here to give feedback.
@@richardsvacuumcenter I don’t have this model I have one of their first models they ever released and it only holds for like 30 seconds of charge then pulses should I order a new battery and be good?

Thanks. I had heard of the baking soda trick and forgot about it. I’ll try it next time.
Can you put a small screw in the bottom so it can catch???
I’d just put 3-5 small screws along the bottom that are short enough it’s not going to damage or scratch the unit
Let me know if it holds up! Not a bad idea

@@m2i3chael30 If it's pulsing you want to check for blockages and clean or replace the filter. If the battery is over 2-3 years replace it.
Mine came off but I can't get it to slide back on
My dyson started having this issue. Were you ever able to fix the issue? Thanks
Yes. Someone makes the part available now. I’ll do an update video
