- Suzuki's response to the European demand for a Grand Vitara with more urban style. This model will start reaching European dealers in the early summer.
Since 1988, that was when the first-generation Vitara was unveiled, Suzuki has consistently used a ladder frame and offered a 4x4 lock mode - key requirements for genuine 4x4 capability. At the same time, we've steadily improved on-road performance amid the growing popularity of crossovers. The current, third-generation Grand Vitara has a sleek, edgy exterior and interior design. It has a rear-mounted spare tyre - a symbol of its SUV identity.
As a stylish sport utility vehicle (SUV), the Grand Vitara's third generation has been appreciated and praised not only by dedicated SUV fans but also by customers who live in urban areas.
For an even greater urban style, Suzuki is now set to additionally offer the urban version that emphasises the sense of nimbleness and quality. Coming without a spare tyre at the tailgate the urban cross-country vehicle presents itself in a more stylish shape making it more suitable for city driving.

Please give it a real challenge. I'm just seeing a lot of splashing around but rarely do you drive in challenging terrain
Nice video. I liked hearing the sound of the engine and the tires instead of some disgusting music than many people put on their videos. Don't know about Suzukis though, but they seem to be much better than the expert reviewers give them credit for.
Had mine 10 years still on original exhaust engine still the sweet as when we bought it bodywork no rust love the car it's a pity the new Vitara wasn't more Jeep based with decent ground clearance I live in the hills when it snows we can get two feet of snow see all the suvs struggling or grounded come on Suzuki give us a Vitara that will do the job
As an avid Vitara fan and an owner of the new (2019) Vitara I can assure you that the new one with the AllGrip system is a little beast. I live in a mountain village with tons of snow for a good half of the year and it proved excellent. Sure it doesn't have low range, but the ground clearance (18.5 cm) is not that bad compared to other Vitaras(Second Gen. G. Vitara had 19cm).

Suzukis are the best when it comes to offroading. Old models have much more option for off-road modification tho . I hope new ones would be available for new grand vitaras so we can actually start going for some real offroad soon :)
Nice to see some one who can have a bit of fun off road and knows how to drive .
Maybe one of these years Suzuki will re-enter the American market and we can buy small real SUVs again.

It's A 2011 and it is a 2.4 Liter 4 cylinder.
it's 2010 and has a 3.2 V6. I own one and they are amazing and very reliable.
I think the guy driving was having a little bit of fun in that mud haha :P

Don't get the 2.4 for the 2008 and up, the engine block is known to crack, get the 2.0 or the v6
