Oddly enough, I've been studying the Bible for 30 yrs. The last seven have been INTENSE night and day in the Hebrew Scriptures. I know 38 books backward and forward, YET, for some unknown reason, (GOD designed) I have skipped over Zechariah. I didn't even realize it until the last couple of days. It was as if I was being led to hold off on this one until later. I kept thinking, "I'll get to that one later." I know now GOD did that, because I believe He is about to fulfill some of those prophecies in these current times, and I've been working on a book about this for TWO years.
Kristina, Cody from Life of Truth(on yt) says this chapter 5 is being fulfilled Jan 6th! I'm thinking he is right! I'm searching and haven't found it anywhere else! PTL
30:43 “but it’s so small what we are doing”. Do you know the story of Arthur Stace? He was an Australian born in 1885. His parents were alcoholics and he was an alcoholic from his teenage years and first went to jail age 15. He joined the military and went off to WW1, came back partially blind in one eye, and continued with his life of depression, drinking and courthouse attendance. One night in 1930 he attended a “tea and rock bun” meeting at St Barnabas, Broadway, in Sydney, NSW. It was a free meal but he had to listen to a sermon along with all the other homeless in order to get the meal. He later said, “I went in to get a cup of tea and a rock cake but I met the Rock of Ages.” His life did a complete about turn and he spent the rest of his life working, helping other down and out men, and preaching on street corners. One night in 1932 he attended a sermon by evangelist John Ridley and was struck by him saying “Eternity, Eternity, I wish I could sound or shout Eternity through the streets of Sydney . . . You’ve got to meet it, where will you spend Eternity?” Stace felt moved by God and found a piece of chalk in his pocket and the guy with no schooling and who couldn’t write or spell got down and wrote Eternity on the sidewalk in beautiful copperplate script. The word Eternity was thereafter found written on the sidewalks all over Sydney, intriguing many as to who was doing it. It wasn’t until 1956 that his secret was discovered and his story was uncovered, published in a newspaper article. So here’s this man, pushed by God to do something seemingly inconsequential but he obeyed and did it. On New Years Day, in the year 2000, the change of the millennium, the fireworks of Sydney Harbour which are always the first of the worlds spectacular fireworks to get beamed around the world, and where the traditional grand finale of the fireworks has been to display something of note on the side of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, that word Eternity was displayed to the entire world.
Excuse me Dr. Smith, but I am thinking that there must be a way to distinguish the Angels of the Lord form demons- they cannot look the same way .. the Bible says that demons disguise themselves like angels (2 Corinthians 11:14-15).. so if they have to disguise then they have an appearance that is markedly different , therefore if the veil is removed for a believer in the prophetic one would be able to recognise the different beings
Always wondered why the Creator whose dwelling is the cosmos needs a physical temple to live in. He could live in the Milky Way or Andromeda or all the galaxies at the same time. Why is He shlepping around on earth? Chapter 2 says Israel is His portion. So, whose portions are the rest of the planet, other gods? The Bible can make God out to be a provincial god. And there seems to be a lot of hyperbole when it speaks of destroying all lands, all animals, all birds, all people, and so forth. It looks like “all” is not literally “all”, but just that region that concerns Israel. And the King and High priest seem to be esteemed by God, and yet God doesn’t “talk” to them directly to give them His encouraging words. Why? Why the need for a proxy? Can’t the King and High Priest “hear” God? Can’t He get through to them directly? It seems like the leaders would need a direct hotline to God. If I were the High Priest and some guy said that God said this and that, I’d say, hey, I’m the High Priest. Why isn’t God speaking to me? Aren’t I good enough? Am I deaf?
