Early cavalry. Who would have thought! I kept going philosophy and ports/trading centers, then push out steadily with giants and swordsmen and mind benders midgane as I grow my economy. Early map control with cavalry is so much better! 40 stars into cavalry sounds like a lot, but it's seems it is quite worth it to conquer half the map by turn 5.
With the current update (as of 2021 September), you get stars for encountering tribes, there's no ruins, and other things are simplified for scoring. How does one guy named ArabianShadowWarrhave 301k score for so many tribes?

Wow, moonrise perfection gameplay changed so much. If you are able to pull off knights beginning, you will conquer the map much quicker. It doesn't seem as skillful as rider gameplay, so no idea if it is a good change, for sure more satysfying to get higher score (in the old version my record was 160 with oumaji). Anyway great video and wish you 200k
Totally agree. This knight strat is less fun. Just randomly clicking at your screen and you will have 5 kills at least with one knight. It didn't feel special getting this score. I am sure 160k with oumaji is a lot more difficult than this.
@@gluteus_maximus Idk if oumaji is that good now, it used to be the best tribe as it let you most reliably conquer 2 cities on turn 2 without going for explorer. You could reach trade faster and make your gameplay more rapid. Now they don't have explorer that lets you buy knight at turn 0, so the best tribe would be kickoo, then bardur.
It's almost impossible to get this good of a start early on.
Perfection mode now only does continents, not archipelago.

On the last turn, shouldn't you be destroying custom houses and making temples on them for 100 extra points each?
