Patience is hard for humans. It’s necessary, but still a struggle just because we are visual people. We all know the importance of waiting, but Lord is it hard. I miss my short cute TWA, but I also remember the long wait of growing it to nip length....and the shrinkage that makes it look shoulder length. The goal we each have keeps us pushing to care for our hair to reach that next milestone, just as with other goals in our lives.

I am just shocked she cut it. It looks good her though. She cut it and I wished my hair was her previous length. I'm medium length and my husband won't allow me to cut my hair. He said it's grounds for a divorce. I can get a wig if I want something different.

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve been watching you for a long time.. followed hella DIYs.. but when you released a product line I was skeptical. I actually side eyed it, BUT let me tell you... I guess I was a hater cause that ish SLAPPPPPSSSS. Like on the real. My boyfriend LOVES the smell, but more than that my hair is ACTUALLY moisturized!!! Buy it y’all. I won’t doubt you again sis!

teahgurl the whole line but highly recommend the cream and leave in. If you only want to get ONE then choose the cream. It’s life. I don’t have the same hair type as you but still recommend to everyone but like... 2 type curls.

I big chopped shaved 8 years ago and grew it out to waist length before cutting into her hair length in December. It feels very short compared to before. Other people's definition of short doesn't negate how it feels on yourself. 😅😂

I’ve only watched a few of these videos and I really enjoy them. I just need to respond to some of the comments. Everyone’s hair no matter the texture grows approx. 1/2 inch per month, the more tight the curls 4b, 4c for example the more susceptible the hair is to breakage. Your hair is growing if your scalp is healthy but some people are not retaining the length, protect your ends. If you’re keeping your hair moisturized, away from too much heat, using silk pillowcases and/ or bonnets, using microfiber towels, etc. then you just have to figure out what is causing your hair to break off, it could be something subtle. Not everyone will have hair down to their bottom, but its not unobtainable for black women with any hair texture to have hair down their backs.

now my youtube mom did a big chop like me omygosh.. now we are definitely twins. but cutting my hair again that short back in November has been the best thing ive done for my hair. its so much curlier and bouncier too. my hair was so long it didn't have much definition or bounce but definitely 10/10 recommend. styling and washing is also so much faster now

Dena Wilson I know I’m not her, but I recommend just using any heat protectant and you should be fine. I see a lot of good reviews for the Pantene Gold Series heat protectant that you can get at Walmart.Have fun blow drying!

I have been using Melanin for the past 2 months, and my curls have been thanking me!!! Detangling is a breeze and my hair has never been so soft and manageable. I have never used hair products absent of coconut oil, and I seriously see a difference in my shedding. Didn't know I could possibly be sensitive to coconut oil like you!! Your products are a miracle worker in my hair. I have your cream and oil, and have used nothing else since I got them last year (products last a LONG time). I do twistouts with 8 twists with beautiful results.

I’m so glad I placed and received my order in early February. I ordered 2 of everything. I used each product once and then I got knotless braids. She isn’t lying a lil goes a long way. I love 💗 💗 💗 💗 💗 💗 these products. The trio left my hair so moisturized with a nice shine to it. I got so manyyyyyyyyyyyy compliments on my wash n go . Although I been rocking these braids for a month, I’m so ready to take them out just to use these products. But I do use the oil and hair cream to moisturize my scalp twice a week.

I followed this EXACT twist out and it came out fantastic!!! On wet hair, I struggled with the twisting cream cause I got extreme shrinkage & the hold was too soft for me . But starting on towel dried hair made all the difference and I got to experience the elongation😍😍

I've had hair down my back majority of my life and when I cut it short, and allowed it to grow back, I always missed the short hair. My hubby wants it back long again and I really don't but I will do it for him for 2 yrs and then chop it back off. He's the one that cuts my hair. The style in my profile pic, he cut my hair. My hair is pretty long now, but I definitely love my short styles. Pincurls, bantu knots and flexi rod sets are great for making long hair look short. Pincurls will make it look the shortest.
