a couple of years ago I got it because plastic resin went up by like 30% and that forced my company to increase prices of everything but resin has been pretty stable now so I don't get why they are increasing prices
HAHAHAHAHA....... Go buy any Japanese made Bandai kit and see quality difference for a quarter of the price. keeping production in UK is just an excuse to justify the ridiculous prices. GW is murdering their long term viability in exchange for short term profits. enjoy it while it lasts before the the investors take their profit and bail, but not before selling GW off to a private equity firm to gut its bones for glue
It's been obvious for years the reason GW struggle with stock isn't some nefarious FOMO strategy they just can't produce enough stock and don't have the warehouse logistics space to manage the stock they can make properly. Summer 2026, just in time for 11th edition I guess and any big range refreshes for that edition if they don't mess it up
Overflowing onto a made to order list after the hot pre-orders sell out is exactly what this hobby needs. It would eliminate scalping entirely. This new facility would allow them to do that.
With 3 factories, new releases are gone in milliseconds, Leviathan models took nearly half a year to get individual releases, and high-in-demand kits have been out of stock for over a YEAR. They need 3 new factories. Not 1.
Good to see investment and loyalty to UK business and manufacturing from GW. They'd make a lot more outsourcing ALL of it to the far east. Glad forbthis is as a l9ng term strategy for them, clearly.
You know what I want. Give us better upgrades for each chapter and factions. I will gladly pay money for a box of 30 different beards for my dwarfs and such
This is fantastic news. I did wonder if the Hasbro influence would push them into outsourcing more production, but a decent size addition to capacity in Nottingham is ideal. GW as the big fish in a truly minuscule pond, often gets talked about as if it’s some huge multinational business. Even here Valrack offhandedly suggests GW is ‘one of the biggest firms in the UK’ which is frankly ridiculous. There are literally thousands of UK companies with greater annual revenue than GW.
Well I am glad to hear it cause the Tyranid Maleceptor has been sold out for quite some time now. Make the plastic so I can give you my money please lol.
This would explain why GW only send out only part of its pre-orders biased upon demand going on from the amount of youtube vids I've seen about this issue.
Sounds like a GW problem. Glad to know the consumer is paying 45 bucks for a model tho to help fund this. In all seriousness I wonder if the costs will go back down, even slightly when this new factory is made.
This is only good news to me if it means the prices of models go down, sadly tho this only means they will rise the cost even more to cover this expansion.
Should be ready for 11th edition drop. They should just hard reset and go to the great crusade as the default settings.. Burn it all for the Emperor, for Unity.
I’ve never been to GW’s Nottingham factory or Warhammer World so this is my first time seeing it’s layout, but… doesn’t that existing factory look really really small? And isn’t this their primary factory? Feels like this is the sort of production upgrade most other companies would’ve had done half a decade ago. But this is GW we’re talking about, so I guess in a really dumb way it does make sense.
@@ruslanhoncharenko2179 If the business aspect of GW is internally a well oiled machine, than externally it’s a machine constantly venting awful smelling fumes to most who actually use the machine. That doesn’t sound like just a well oiled machine to me, it sounds like a good machine with a design flaw.
I HAVE NOT BEEN DIVING IN THE GAMES WORKSHOP BINS! THIS IS ALL PUBLIC DOMAIN!
Lies.

Corporate espionage ;)
We all no you walked through the front doors wearing a fake moustache 😂
Of course not. You wouldn't fit.
Shitty as their prices are I'm glad they're keeping production in the UK unlike so many other companies.
It would/should ensure the quality of the product and hopefully decent to good employee treatment. Hopefully

Will GW build and complete a 4th factory before Val has even completed his batrep room?
Too busy rolling around this build site! I AM IN THE WALLS!
Soon
@@ChapterMasterValrak He’s in the goddam walls!
The fact that they just announced nothing for pre-order this week, other than some merch tat, shows how much they need this.
didn't a bunch of HH things just get up for pre-order? or do you mean new things?
Did you read the article on why no preorders this week?
@@Sigismund697 New things, those went up for pre-order this past Saturday, the preview of what is going up this Saturday I meant.
@@mwalker39mw No I didn't see that I don't think, what was the reason?
So prices will decrease, right? Right?
Yeah....... And on the day GW decreases prices, Squigs will fly out my arse.
You have a better chance of getting money from Elon than GWS decreasing its prices.
@@ScarletDream21
GW is otherwise competent.
And Musk isn’t.
Good joke lad

i can imagine valrak dressed and acting like the mr been movie where he steals the painting
Construction workers on an average workday: "Hey boss, that weird guy in the yellow shirt is digging through our trash again.."
Bin man Valrak just here for the garbage
*whistles CM Valrak theme*
Where are the dwarfs!
FOR ROCK AND STONE!
YOU'VE GASLIGHTED ME AGAIN!
This is actually pretty solid news. Hope this reduces the amount of limited stock issues alot of the models/books have been having
Now they can crank out 10x more Space Marine Lieutenants!
Can't believe Valrak infiltrated the site
Member models when ?
I want to see what the new inquisitorial boxes are going to look like. Hope we get some new shock troops
when's this supposed to come?
Where the Dwarfs Valrak?
YES.
Que the Mission Impossible theme music as Valrak sneakily infiltrates GW's... bins.
5:23 did I just see Valraks residence under the docs of “property’s that GW owns” !!???
Happy Father’s Day Valrak!
Thank you!
Does that mean they are lowering their prices?
😂😂😂😂
Good one
not sure if England has the best deep soil but GW needs to build the new factory vertically for future proofing
since they'll be able to produce them in bulk and more consistently, I wonder if they'll pass cost savings onto customers.... jokes
Oh my sweet summer child...
Its a nottingham burguer
When you were driving into Work last month, where is your office and parking spot on that map?
😂
Happy Father's Day from the USA!
Ahhhh so this is where the price hike comes from. Can I at least get a tour?
Sneak into GW offices? You mean casually walk into work right?
Construction like that is good for all who live there.
The next intro video now needs to be Valrak sneaking in to GW to steal plans Mission Impossible style.
My first order from a hobby shop was a tau broadside.... i waited almost a half year to get that XD bc of the leviathan boxes
This is good news
Overflowing onto a made to order list after the hot pre-orders sell out is exactly what this hobby needs. It would eliminate scalping entirely. This new facility would allow them to do that.
Could you do a video on the production of minis? Like a How It's Made.
Would be really interesting.
Told ye before valrak.. they dont have enough demags. Hence the new facility, they wont need to keep swapping out the mould tools
I know it's a pipe dream. But I really wish they would build one in the U.S. with some of that 94 mil.
New Factory just non Space Marine SKUs.
Every time he says it I say it with him.
"Let's get wafflin!"
Ok great, now gw needs to build a lore factory.
I miss having a G-dubs in CNY. Those guys were the most inviting, encouraging and accepting bruvs a young 40k player could ask for.

Youre telling me Games Workshop will finally have A WORKSHOP? XD

I’ve heard rumors about a U.S based shipping facility in Memphis, TN. Have you heard anything like that?
Hacking into a government website is a new low for this guy

So putting packaging in one location and having all 4 factories dedicated to just production is good
Now they can finally start mass production of Assault Terminators and Primaris Sang Guard
3-d printer goes burrr

New Games Workshop PSA:
valrak is no longer Black Listed
just noticed the car park is bigger than the office welfare space
Cars are bigger than people most of the time, some can even transport four of them!
Here's hoping this means that prices will drop at least a little bit
PLASTIC WARHOUND?! I want to live again!
Did a PR bench press today. No support from the Rugby lads in chat. Turns out Horus might have been right. Burn it all.
Maybe one day they will build one in the US
Haha they need more space to make space marines. That’s funny
I wish GW would also open a printing house. No more problems like cursed city.
Are they going to make monoliths at the new facility?
Hey Valrak, out of curiosity, where did you get those banners behind you?
That’s cool and all… but who’s the next Primarch coming back 👀
Finally! They're doing the most obvious thing!
It must be where the female custodies are going to be made
I wish they would put factories in the us
Maybe they can produce better rules there?
This is only good news to me if it means the prices of models go down, sadly tho this only means they will rise the cost even more to cover this expansion.
Great news for availability of product, not so good news for the price increases to pay for it.
is this gonna stop the rise of pricing or reduce it? no? 3d print it is
Oh, so this will allow them to lower prices and stock things properly, right?
No?
Cool, my 3D printer still goes brrrrrrrrr then.
I'm just impressed your managed to get a screenshot of Nottingham Live without ads in it. Their website's a shitshow. 😆
Which one is your new corner office mate?
Hope your new desk gas a great view.

They claimed prices would come down when they switched from metal to plastic. DIdn't happen.
Hello, GW Bin police? This man right there sneaked again.

Great to know I might be able to stop worrying so much about getting my hands on minis in like 2029 lol

Ninja-rak in the house
Any rumors, when world eaters codex drops?
Still can't add legends options to the app though
So when are they gonna jack up prices again to pay for this new place?

Any rumours on new Imperial Guard their Val?

Sorry, mate, nothing big on the coming really, lots of Stealer stuff though for this next Hive!
@@ChapterMasterValrak Appreciate it, Valrak!!!
Raising prices and perpetually out of stock ? That is bound to hit the profits.
So over 5 years of investment probably puts us into early 12th edition?
So GW can't get it up (their production rate) and need a huge new factory to compensate for their short comings.
Come on Val, we all know you got the floorplan rolled up and sent through the toilet stall hole you get your other leaks from
Dumb question but how close are they to being the biggest employer in Nottingham?
Wait, no space marine 2 new footage or reaction video? 😢😢😢😢
Great news. Reduced prices and more than enough stock so no shortages.

I hope so. I need my plastic crack
I'm not saying you've got high executive access but...
Sweet now thry can jack the prices up again. Oh wait they will anyway
WHERE ARE THE DWARVES, VALRAK? WHERE ARE THE DWARVES!
Valrak upgraded from kidnapping GW employees. He now kidnaps public officials and construction managers
Leave the poor employees alone.
They need another warehouse for all the AoS boxes that nobody buys 🤣
