When performing suggested exercises in the video, make sure you are currently training on how to properly sing or seek out professional help to make sure you are using your muscles correctly. As with many activities involving the body and muscles, there are individual risks involved that might arise, which my studio and I cannot foresee. You are doing these exercises at your own risk and understand the consequences that might occur if used improperly with no liability on my part. If for any reason you are experiencing discomfort, discuss it with your voice teacher (like me).
enjoy~

Thank you very much! I was able to reach my whistle register without squeezing it or hurting myself, it just happened so naturally! Now I just need to practice to feel confident in this sound.
I’m so glad I found your video!
Thank you. Your explanations and the exercises you provide and demonstrate are the best i have followed.
I'm happy to see you singing & teaching on RUclips, Tina!! 💗
Thank you so much for watching!
Hey Tina! Thank you so much for the video! I have always wanted to learn how to sing higher than my mezzo/alto range. I don't own a piano unfortunately, but is there a video where it's only the warm-ups to sing high? I would like to practice singing high everyday to see results. Thank you!
Thanks so much! I was able to reach those higher notes without pain. I will try this every day. In the chorus I'm in, many of the songs we do are in the upper range of my voice.
Ive never seen this cannel but i like it
Love this! It helps me to hear you go through your passigio!
YOU'RE AMAZING! big hug from brazil ❤❤❤❤
Tina, thank you for this video. I think it does help me. I’m a female , 72 years old, and have always liked to sing, but no voice lessons. When I was 40 I had half my thyroid out. I think it damaged my vocal cords, as there are now spots in my vocal range that when I hit it, even though I feel I should be able to hit it, just no sound at all comes out. It does get a little better with theses exercises but not completely. My question is, do you feel I will ever get my range of voice back after all these years? I love your videos. So helpful. Wish you had been around when I was young and had a voice. You will get a lot of followers as people find you.
Hello! Thanks for sharing with me your story. I do think you can get your range back after all these years. Stretching in general is great for all activities, therefore it is helpful for vocal cord muscles too. You don't need fancy vocal exercises to make this happen. The key is committing for a long period of doing these exercises without giving up...it will take a long time to get back what used to be, but if you can work on stretching your vocal cords daily for more than a few months, and not rush the process, it's definitely possible!
Hey, I know your comment is from 2 years back but I wanted to let you know I also had a pretty extensive vocal injury, and have been able to get back to where I was before it. I had lost maybe 1/3 of my whole range, I'm glad I did not give up because anything is possible with the right approach. I hope that gives you hope!
Thank you so much for all of your videos.. they have helped my singing so much.😊
Thank you so much! I’ve been practicing this daily, and I’m really excited for my audition in the singing contest. I hope it goes well!
!
Definitely going to try this 👍🏻
❤🎶🎵💕thank you! You are a fantastic vocal teacher. I appreciate this and your other videos because as an alto, higher pitch are really an weakness in my skills and very challenging for me.
Thanks!
Thank you! I'm glad you like the video :)
Your videos are very good, you have improved a lot in the quality of your videos, and your exercises are very good, I saw that you focus on recording for more experienced singers, so your videos are good for your target audience. Your exercises have helped me ❤️
This is video is amazing, so helpful to me as girl with a lower voice who's always wanted to sing higher.
I will do these everyday
Thank you Tina x
Rn im like tenor/alto idk and my highest note is F#5,hopefully i can get to the (x)7s in 3 years!
Hi, Tina! Thanks for the awesome video!
What should I do at a point when I just can't reach the highest notes anymore? The notes at 4:35 are my limit and you just keep going hah. Should I push it even when my voice starts to crack or should I stay in my comfort zone until... something happens? I suppose.
Thanks for the advice!
Hello! This is what I would do, I would go back down a few keys and slowly work my way up at first. Then, I would continue to keep going, even if I don't make any sound, because what I'm telling my vocal cords to do is that eventually it needs to strengthen up and close more firmly in the future. I don't want to push more air to "make sound" just keep doing the slide, even if no sound comes or if you crack, it's okay. It doesn't need to sound pretty. The challenge is making sure we don't tighten up at all or shove air out in the attempt to create the vibration. I hope that makes sense. I just keep going up and if I don't reach those top notes at all for today, I take a break and try again tomorrow, and then again the next day, and eventually sound will happen!

I love your exercises, they are fun and effective
I'm happy you like them!
@@tinavocalstudio I wish I could have personal vocal training sessions with you.
I love to sing and there are areas I want to work on so I can be better
God! Such a video! accuracy, sapiency , all the time you are accompaning the student; the video I- opera student ( baroque) was looking for...thank you teacher❤❤
@Laura-cq1np I'm glad you liked the video and that it was helpful!
I reach those notes with head voice. I don't know how to do it by belting.
You will need to work on vocal compression, how firmly you can get your vocal cords to close without overly pressing your efforts.
Merci❤
I have a whistle that shows me a different notes
Wow
You're so awesome!
It would be great if you did a 20 minute one to practice by without the talking. Thank you!
Love from india 🇮🇳💜
nice video
Y'all i want you to remember me when i be a singer my name is Zyudé ❤
Hi Tina mam, you are beautiful 😻
@1:08 I'm a beginner... so you said 5 minutes for 3 days a week, 10 minutes for 4 days a week, 20 mins for 5 days... then you said it wll only work if I do it only a daily basis...
3 days a week isn't dail, 4 days a week, and 5 days a week aren't daily... im confused. >_
Shes basically saying alternatives if you don't want to do it daily, daily is recommended but the minimum is 3 days, so i hoped this helped
❤❤❤❤
im probably using the wrong muscles cuz i feel tightness
Yeah...don't want tightness to happen! Practice small, start with just a few and build from there.
😂😂😂😂 my mind was in the gutter
You lost me at ”I’m an alto singer”.
I guess you sing pop music and doesn’t ”sing” as high as Mariah Carey.
Nice but you talk a lot
You literally don't need to watch it if it bugs you so much. bye
Some ppl wanna listen and learn, It's not just about you.
It’s called teaching. There was lots of important things said! Without that knowledge you’d might hurt yourself…
@@tinavocalstudioI love the way you explain!!! 👌🏻👏🏻 Don’t listen to comments like this! You do a great job!!! Thanks 🙏🏻
Lol what sup with the fake hair.
