I would say the biggest pain is ignoring how you truly feel.I think that is pain simply eating at you.But there best way to do that is deflecting that pain by noticing it and changing the perspective.Keep going sometimes sad songs can help us or destroy us just know you are worth it 😉
Sometimes it just feels less painful than exploding your true feelings into words and hurt the ones who are precious to you :). So be it. it's just all about being strong and knowing what you want other than happiness *sometimes* and working for it instead of looking for a place to get everything out to find happiness.
Holding the pain alone in order not to hurt the person you loved, I think that is more painful than any of the reasons, i just ended my 4 years relationship though i always have the second thought of always needed him but it is the only way to make thing easier for the both of us. Maybe im selfish, but I am not that strong to hold it for so long, I never been this pain before, my mind says don't let go but my head always visiting the idea that distancing yourself for good. And i think that is what people must decide carefully before saying goodbyes.
