The Taylor all the way not to mention the super easy to play action and built in arm rest! If you buy the acoustic electric version you get a built-in tuner on board......it just had a clearer sound.
The sound on Yamaha wins hands down but gotta realize that the academy a 10 e and a 12 e is the smallest versions of this full size guitar playability is also another factor to consider I would definitely love to own either one of these guitars
Heard that with better strings the Yamaha sounds a lot better. Even if that's not true, considering the price difference, Yamaha is a clear winner here.
You obviously do not know much about Taylor guitars mate, I own a yamaha LD 10e aswell as a Taylor academy 10e. People are obviously allowed and do like different sounding guitars and if you take for example any gibson j200 you won't ever have any of them sound exactly the same each other as is the case with every guitar company apart from Taylor all their guitars are built as great as the other and every guitar in every series hold true to each series sound and models. Second of all you don't understand how taylor guitars differ to other acoustic guitars as in your ear is not listening for the sustain range and volume aswell as the intonation accuracy of each note across the neck superior in its accuracy and sound to the yamaha. Andy Powers has brought amazing advancements to the guitar player check out his v class bracing video on here and listening carefully to what is happening. ruclips.net/video/_Hy6dy82l1M/видео.html
Good comparison between a perfectly acceptable inexpensive guitar (F310) and one that is a step up, being much better balanced and without the cardboard-boxy bass tones (academy). The academy 12 is even better balanced but gives up the rich and ringing strumming of the a10.
This gives a good comparison of how they sound, but what about playability for a beginner and build quality? I’ve read that the Taylor has a shorter scale length to make it easier to play? Does the Taylor have better fit and finish?
I have the A10E. It plays like butter. You can probably snag one used for $500 or so. I got lucky and picked one up on Reverb a few years ago for $420 shipped.
Hey! Didn't anyone mention the price difference? Try buying a cheap British-made Carlsboro Sherwood amp for your guitar, what you'll get is an expensive sounding budget guitar.
As you see guysm Taylor or Martin, and other expensive guitar dont justify their high price, unless you really want to "buy" your performance level and pay the brand, not extra skills ;)
You are unaware of what Andy Powers is doing at Taylor he has changed the way acoustic guitars function brought in bolt on kneck, lower string action, exceptional play ability and comfort, diffrent finishes on the guitars to cancel none musical sounds from gloss finishes etc that hamper the over all quality when playing the instrument and can mess up the clean sounds you want hence why his guitars are finished diffrent from others. He developed guitars to have more sustain and more volume and explains how that works and what impact it has brought fourth to us players. His V class bracing video explains it and demonstrates these factors in a way you can understand and listen to, check out both these links below ruclips.net/video/_Hy6dy82l1M/видео.html ruclips.net/video/woMjCvzOURQ/видео.html
Taylor Academy 10 is more balance and with more hamonic sound than Yamaha F310. But the price difference is great. In this regard, I would guess a higher price F830 should be better than Taylor Academy 10.
For real? The Taylor guitar is way more clear. Yamaha sounds like someone put socks in it. I have a Yamaha guitar as well, but the taylor is better by far.
@@nomissimo taylor is an expensive guitar but still yamaha sounds better than academy and thats really true, i myself have yamaha, taylor and lakewood guitar but f310 is really great for affordable price
I have the Taylor A10E. It's the thinnest neck I've played on an acoustic. I bought it because it played so well and has a solid tone. Can't beat it for the price with electronics.
I have Yamaha f310 Guitar,and i love it,also i have Yamaha Arius YDP 103 piano.I love quality of Yamaha ..

Me too. I prefer Lamborghini to Honda Civics.

I think in yamaha each note was even more clear than in the Taylor and Taylor was more focused on a clean sound but yamaha towards a warm sound ..

They both sound great. I closed my eyes and I couldn’t tell the difference.
We need the dry sound of the guitars not over the top reverb can't hear the characteristics of each guitar.

Got budget FX310Aii & a high end FGTA & still love the sound of 310.

Yamaha can do so much better with a good new strings set
Which brand and model of strings do you recommend?
@@magnonfontana7483 Try the D'Addario NB 012, they were the ones I liked the most on my Yamaha F370, but it's a matter of personal preference.
Guitars don't matter if this guy is playing it.
Yamaha is more melodious and warmer
Someone suggest me good guitar strings for yamaha f310 which gets less rust
You couldn't go wrong with either one.
Bro,do you use effects on bass and treble and reverb in mixing sound recording using mic?
Taylor for me .. sounded so much clearer. Far nicer to my ear
It would be nice to see a comparison of the Taylor Academy 10 vs the Yamaha FG830. About same price range

Any day I would go for Yamaha. I have one
Taylor Academy 10 is more balance and with more hamonic sound than Yamaha F310. But the price difference is great. In this regard, I would guess a higher price F830 should be better than Taylor Academy 10.
clearly Taylor wins with warmer sound
Costs 6x more
can you give the chords to this song, beautiful. yamaha gets it here in my opinion.
AGFE
I don't know if it's just me. How could you possibly tell a damn difference on a youtube video?
Use a better headphones and you will hear the difference
Yamaha sounds more fake
The other one is calm and clear
Whoever both are great

I like Yamaha But I Love Taylor ....Swift.
Nice video what about Yamaha vs Cort Earth?
i think Cort Earth is better
Could u make video Yamaha vs cort i would like to see pls?
YES YAMAHA
010 or 011 strings?
011
and the award goes to yamaha,, cheers ..
This is not fair... 😌😌😸😸
Perron sonidossss las dossss 😈👍
Todos violões são bons , diferencial Ta em quem toca .
Verdade
who is win??
I think yamaha
The Taylor sounds like a cross between a guitar and a ukulele. No deep tone. The test would have been better without the reverb mixed in.
i have f310 but taylor best wkwk
€138 VS €599
Класс. Хочу 310. ))))) Шутка. Юмор.
Yamaha !!
it seems taylor has a great sound than yamaha...price never lies
Yes but yamaha is best for begginer and taylor is for professional guitarist.
@@DivVisFacts but this particular taylor guitar is designed for beginners
I love my Yamaha 310. But I am just a beginner
much cleaner sound with taylor and better bass
Taylor 👍
i dont see much difference here ...both sound really good
Yes
Same here
Why you compare €138 & €599 guitar? ... That's is so dumb!
YAMAHA best !..
thanks..
Тейлор - громче, звук более прозрачный, эха больше.
Ямаха - щвук как-будто кто-то под одеялом играет.
Yamaha Very best
Yamaha F310 is better for me.
Yamaha got deep base sound
yamaha deep bass
plug it bfo
taylor best
Yamaha
тэйлор выразительней
В "живую" он ещё более выразительный)
Too much sustain and sweet sound of taylor
Yamaha better
YAMAHA
Cheaper win
?fool of mind...
Yamaha wins again, cause it's cheap af
Who the fuck plays a Yamaha?! 😆😆😆
A good comparison has to be made playing same notes and chords, non like in this video. Unuseful
Taylor 👍
