Hi!..God sent your channel to me xo! 💞
I Have an awesome fertilizer tip for you & kids will probably love it too?.
    🐢🐢PET TURTLES!!
Yep, I have 2 pet turtles that are kept inside in their own cow trough pond 'part of the family' for many years (safe from predators).
When I do a water change or clean their mini pool- THEIR USED WATER IS FULL OF NITROGEN (Turtle waste)... It's VERY STRONG & must be diluted within buckets of fresh water...💥POW- NATURAL FERTILIZER!!! (fresh water fish tank water can be used as well!)
Awesome to use in beds (a little once a week or biweekly) Awesome for all kinds of plants & flowers!
(If not diluted enough it can burn your plants so a little goes a long way- NOT to use it on seedlings :)
When I was young my mother & I would always dig a small hole near our landscape trees & ornamentals...toss in the 'remains' of a fresh caught fish, add water in the hole before covering it back up🐟🐟🐟🐟
The head, bones & fins provided Natural Fertilizer & boy did the plants love it!!!
(Mom rented boat docks, the fishermen brought us fresh fish all the time! 🤗
...Have farm life & chickens now).
Also, try adding *Worm Castings* into your garden soil as well...Looks like the richest dark dirt you've ever seen!
….Growing your own worms- for their fertilizer- easy to do! 😉 they love fresh fruit & veggie scraps & plain, Non-color printed cardboard...they like the shade, not too hot an area & drainage.
    💖You're an Awesome Mommy!🫂🌱🌱
So wonderful to see Young Mommies get their children involved in gardening, outside in fresh air! What great helpers they are!!!
    Happy Spring xo!!! 🌱🌻🍓🌸🫐🍅🥬🧄🍠

We recently up until about a month ago had a pet fish and threw the water down the toilet weekly..... Not once did it cross my mind to keep it! And Turtles! Never thought of that! And I think i will keep my eye out for fisherman in the neighborhood..... Id love to have a hole just for that! Thank you again so much for sharing ❤️

I love your set up in your hoop house! I dont know if anyone has ever mentioned it to you but you can use your marigolds to make a home made SAFE insecticide to use in your garden. Basically chop them up and steep like a tea overnight and put into a spray bottle instead of using chemicals on your food plants. :D

Hey Taquisha, so happy to see you and your beautiful daughters out in the garden! The magnets were a great idea and pray they continue to do the job! I still have a few weeks to go as I am in zone 6a but enjoying the seed starting! I can finally move some of my seedlings to my sun porch as it is not heated it definitely helps to spread out and more room for oscillating fan to work better! Don’t forget to put a fan in the hoop house so you don’t get fungus as humidity climbs! Also I use the same fish fertilizer as you and that is all I use, besides mushroom compost that I add to keep up moisture levels in soil and suppress weeds! Your pine needles work well too and are free! Really great for acid loving plants like blueberries! Great job and you look good in glitter 😉!

It's so encouraging to read how you have success in your garden with just using a couple things! And especially with it being the fish fertilizer which I'm planning to use I'm very hopeful! Mushroom compost suppressing weeds and adding moisture to the soil is also really great information! Thank you for sharing ❤️

Hi! I am new to your channel! I am loving your content! Now this is a suggestion. For your magnet door, maybe if you Gorilla glue pieces of metal on your plastic then you can stretch your magnets. The other thing is trying and save your seeds from your fruit and vegetables, drying them out, labeling them and reusing them next planting season. It would save you a little bit of money. Growing up we used to save seeds from tomatoes, cucumbers and any of the plants we grew that had seeds. Good luck on your journey!

I’m at that point as well with the fertilizer. I find bone meal and blood meal are pretty effective. I will keep tomato-tone and citrus tone because tomatoes typically don’t need as much fertilizer and citrus requires special fertilizer. But tomato-tone offers everything garden-tone does plus a little more. I’ll be combining that with my worm castings and compost. I plan to invest in either crab or fish liquid fertilizer so I can have a liquid version and that’s it. Don’t want to try a million things if I’ve found something that works. I’ll be investing in Ollas as well to take my time back from watering. There’s no way I can survive our summer watering a full garden almost daily by hand.
