I SAW THIS last week in New York! It was beyond amazing! The whole cast came out stage door and signed playbills….They were all very kind artists and the fans LOVED them! Definitely looking to Tonys!
It's hard for me to imagine Josh Groban, who always comes across so nice and affable, being able to go down and be as dark as Sweeney needs to be, but I would love to at least see how well he does it. Annaleigh is perfect casting for Mrs. Lovette. I so wish I could see this show! One of my all-time favorites. Heck, I just want to see the last 3 songs of Act 1. Can Groban go full laughing psycho in "Epiphany"? I bet Annaleigh is a hoot in "A Little Priest"
