A whole hour nerding out about solar? Yes!

No doubt powerfilm makes the best foldable solar panels in the world. Unfortunately their just a little bit out of my price range. If you want the best, you got to pay for it.
On a side note, you have made two of the best "How it's made" videos I've seen in a long time.
We need to do a fundraiser to get you over to Japan to see some radio builds.

That was kind of a abrupt end to the video. Maybe an wrap up and show some products at the end? Other than that I now know more about solar panels than I probably need to know.

Yeah filming was a little crazy that day and I didn't record an intro our outro. But honestly, do you really want to hear me talk after him?

I think a lot of people that complain about their prices had no idea what actually goes into making them. All that equipment had to cost a fortune and that isn't even considering design costs. If it is not in the budget, it is not in the budget, but that was a very informative video and people should at least now have an understanding of why it costs so much.

Mike thank most people never get to see a really high quality factor flow in the semiconductor business. This is simplified to what we do semi chips not closer than you think. The environment is cleaner too. It is great to see an American business with this advanced technology and quality. Most panels are built at much higher speed but make only one thing. This really does not compare to them for the adjustable process that gives them a custom product for many different products and industries. Note we are lucky they offer there products for the ham business. Epically since it is so small.

I'm very impressed that he gave such a thorough tour. But my brain hurts. I think I could feel some of my knowledge leaking out as this info tried to cram its way in.

Love this. It’s unfortunate PowerFilm is so expensive compared to other solar options, but I completely understand why. Made in ‘Murica, advanced technologies, all cells directly connected back to the output, etc. essentially, I wish i wasn’t a broke-ass college student and had more money to buy their products 😂

I saw a documentary of brain surgery. They said the brain has no pain recepticals. Halfway through my brain hurt. Information overload brought to you by a brainiac solar guy. Now I know what I want for Christmas!!! I also want a Lunar Panel. I have heard that some solar panels will pickup moonbeams on a full moon night and drip power into the charge controller. LOL!!!

Good stuff, but PowerFilm is still too expensive compared to the rest of the marketplace for average consumers. They should study how YETI grew.
