I bought one of the very last FHG models before they became the S3 Turbo and I love it! I'm burning less wood than I ever have and I'm heating more with it because it provides all my domestic hot water. Also, Tarm was very helpful during the installation. Plus the BLT controller is an excellent way to integrate my oil boiler. Thanks!
Can you turn off the gasifier function? e.g. can it work when there's a power outage? I saw on an old video a guy pullling a lever then a normal smoke came out on the top.

How is the domestic hot water (for showers, kitchen taps etc...) heated in summertime when you are not burning wood in the boiler?

The boiler does not operate without power. There is no bypass function for exhaust.
