am I the only one who enjoys how satisfying it is to hear him talk in such detail and emphasis on certain words, I could sleep to this 😂😂
Don't worry Im here too! :) How stiff or soft is your brush ? ;)
@p So is cleaning cars but I am not moaning about either. It's a good channel and that is why I am here.
That’s is why we are all here. His British accent and coastal English noises are a perfect addition to the beautiful visuals.
Personally, I love the brummy accent and the natural talent for both detailing and narration.
Excellent relaxing videos and I always learn something.
I999 he’s a scouser
I always watch the guru videos with a dictionary in hand.
Haha brilliant
7 minutes just about fits into my day before work, good work and timing Joe.
Your day starts at 3AM?
@@KP-sg9fm Erm... we're in the UK mate.
@@DetailingandtheBeast LOL totally forgot what I was watching xD
@@KP-sg9fm not even CCG could get me up at 3am 🤣😴😴
I am also doing the details in Korea, but I respect your professionalism and sincerity.
Always love your content mate. Keep it coming ;)
You definitely have the softest touch of all the detailers/valets of YT. It's striking to come from a video of a hard scrubbing to this one being gently caressed and spoken about in a soft, calm voice. Like the car is a wild animal being coaxed to safety. 😂😂😂
Always look forward to your videos and your explanations and humour are excellent.
Great video once again Mr. Guru. I really enjoy these "How To" videos and what processes you utilize to get the job done effectively. These are some of your best in my opinion but all of your videos are great none the less. I actually picked up a set of those long handle VIKAN brushes you show here about a year ago after you showed them in another video cleaning an engine I believe it was. Had to have them shipped here from the UK and I think the shipping/customs tariff cost me more than the brush set. But I get a lot of use out of those two brushes and I have since purchased additional VIKAN brushes. They are some of the best brushes I have in my arsenal but they're a little hard to get here in the US of A, although Amazon has a few of them now as well as ebay so they're getting a little easier to find here now. I especially enjoyed this video due to the fact that I myself have a 370z too and it's nice to see how you clean your own 370z wheels and calipers. I'll be using some of the tips your outlined here. Thanks again Mr. Guru, you are truly the "GURU" when it comes to instructional detailing videos!
Another great video from the cleaning wizard himself Mr Guru 👌👍
Best lessons in every autodetailer. Thanks🌹🌹
Big Up as always, amazing content and that voice, oh yes we are all here for that voice! :) Much love Guru!
I've recently done a vid on the Klin Korea Green Monster PU cloth which for me makes wheel cleaning (of well maintained wheels) really simple and effective. It would also work well for the calipers.
first time seeing one of your vids and Ihave to say the audio, video, editing, script, and approach were all impressive. You were thorough in ways I did not expect and it actually made me laugh a bit while I was learning. Cheers
The quick recap at the end was very helpful 👍
Are we going to be getting more car cleaning content? The anticipation is killing me lol!! Never did I think I'd enjoy watching someone detail a car but your videos are satisfying!! 👍
I have watched so many videos of yours and you are the true essence of the name of your chanel.you inspire me keep up the great work Brother 👍👍👍
Yet again the smooth talking Guru comes through with another great video..
We all seem to have more equipment for cleaning our wheels and calipers than any other dirt and grime removers for the rest of our beloved motors
👋😎👍
Hey guru, you should do a wheels off and full car wash on a 20 year old car with atleast 100k miles!!
I'd love to see that, cheeerss from NZ
Very satisfying and therapeutic. Haha. Great job, man.
Purely therapeutic. Where abouts do you get those super handy storage trays on the side of your bucket ?
Thanks Joe.
Zero interest in cleaning brake calipers. Just here cos I like this guy's style.
Bought that Vikan set recently at a great price, very useful addition to my brush army.
Yepp same
Great video as always
You have such a soothing voice.
Seriously, I could listen to him read the ingredient lists of cereal boxes.
@@KyleBrightman 😂👌
I love watching your videos and find it very informative. Have to say that you have cost me a fair bit of money changing from washing with just a sponge a £1 b&q bucket and whatever wash & wax is on special at the time. It's made cleaning my car very enjoyable.
Is there maybe a chance that you could do a video on how you clean and look after your towels and other equipment/ tools please?
I only subscribed for the glimpses of Mr Barlow.
From i started watching your videos I get nothing but good compliments about how clean my car is,I went from just using a bucket and sponge to having a shed full of car cleaning equipment! Makes it all worth it with each complement i get👍
satisfying as always
Just what I was looking for
Yes a new upload, ❤️ it
Great content and I love the accent. Same as when I watch aussie detailers. Weird but you are an absolute pro :)
That was a fantastic video I need go shopping
Great content
10/10 guru
Who in the world would dislike this video??!?! Great video as always Joe!
Someone with rusty old calipers!
@@CarCleaningGuru 😂😂👌
Nice vid guru
Great job
Great channel. Please could you do a video instruction on headlining cleaner and products to use. I could find your last clip but it was 9 years ago but no instructions on products and tools used. Thank you.
Outstanding job on the Nismobile's calipers Guru. I would love to see you do a "Direct From The Shed" video on how you organize, store and mix your all of your cleaning products at home.
That ain’t my shed I’m afraid so literally keep my gear under the kitchen sink 🤷♂️.
@@CarCleaningGuru Not a problem Joe, whatever works for you. You are the most organized detailer I've ever seen.
Great video very informative. On a side note can you let me know where I can purchase the side holder that you have your brushes in.
Great stuff
Hypnotizing video ))
Where did you get the thing on the side of bucket from? Looks like some type of organiser.
Another great video, keep them coming 👍🏻
Looks like a blue Detailing Outlaws Buckanizer. You can check their website to find dealers in your country.
Seeker thank you 🙏
Best detailer on RUclips hands down
Just got a gr corolla! The brakes are the biggest on any other Toyota! The pads also produce a lot of dust so this is awesome!
Yeh just try and keep on top of them from day one!
Great video thank you. Picked some of those Vikan brushes. Is there a good traffic film remover/pre wash for the US?
Excellent
Can u please do any video with a wheel with a lot more spokes and a solid face because I tried cleaning both and I can’t
Y do u have so many subs lol
Oscar Tejura I can only imagine that there’s private videos 😳
Well done
What are the best wheel cleaners and protection products to have for satin or matte black alloys?
Top how to guide. Like your footwear, hopefully not too long for the next video.
Don’t make those hi-vis Salomons anymore! I’ll do my best but we have a bout of terrible weather coming up here that will likely knock me back a week 😫.
I love the little blue brush bucket hanging from the main bucket.....where can I locate one of these...Amazon?
I could eat of the calipers. Nice focused and straight forward guide. Could you please also address Tire cleaning and maintenance?
Did you know I took my front calipers to bits to refurbish yesterday then? That’s what I’m off to the garage to do this morning, so cheers for the motivation fella.
I notice you don’t have to use a wire wheel and flap disc at any stage, unlike on an 18 year old saxo... 😉
Great video!!! The long reach caliper brushes by Vikan are no longer available. Do you have any alternative options for us?
Where did you get the storage section that was on your bucket? Many thanks.
I asked this well bud super interested
Where did you get the attached brush bucket hanging on the side of the wash bucket. Can’t seem to find one anywhere?
Where do you get the blue attachment that fits in the side of your bucket?
Is there any way of getting stains from dried in (apparently very strong) traffic film remover off of tyres? My sister's wheels were rinsed, but not the tyres and now she came to me as the "car guy" to remove the ugly brownish stains on the sidewalls of the tyres.
ACID BRAKE CLEANER Like M..guiars is it safe for them with the heels on? will that remove more dirt than APC? can they be mix?
Cleaning callipers like this is always satisfying, great video👏🏼
Where do you get the bucket holders from bud?
What about corosion? How do you get rid of that?
Ah just what I need
What tyre shine do you use?
Every method for cleaning wheels/tires/wheelwells/ brake calipers must be good, the "bad" or the wrong thing is not to wash your car
Would really like to see a video of more challenging callipers - unpainted, bigger spoked wheels. I really struggle with my wife’s Mini Cooper S and with the rear callipers on mine.
I don’t usually bother with unpainted calipers to be honest unless it’s a new car. Better to just rub them down, repaint and maintain from there.
How do I purchase the bucket? And the brush holder
Should you clean the brake disc?
could there be a problem with so much detergent washing away some of the grease that is between the backside of the brake pads and the piston or on the sliding edge of the pads?
Technically yes but if you keep on top of them you shouldn’t have to use a strong cleaner every time.
One thing With washing/degreasing The brakes/wheels is that you wash away al the needed grease for proper brake action and alot of the moving parts starts to corrode...
Does acid damage the paint?
Just ordered 40 dollars worth of detailing brushes off your U.S. amazon link mate. Cheers!
$1.50 coming my way 🤑
Ok - apologies for the novice question; but why do we always have to clean our wheels BEFORE the rest of the car? I can't get my head around this as I always feel that I'd have to dump all the water from both of my buckets before I moved on to the rest of the car due the amount of oomska that comes off the wheels and brakes..? Thanks in advance!
Ideally you should have a separate bucket for the wheels, even if its just a cheap one but the main reason you want to get them out of the way first is because they’re generally the dirtiest part so if you did them afterwards might contaminate the freshly cleaned body plus you have the rinse water or suds sitting on the body potentially spotting and streaking while you tend to the wheels.
3'40" haha ! crazy ! awesome !
Thought on TFR?
will the second, common synthetic brush you used on the caliper be safe? the red one. or is there risk of scratching?
Definitely a risk of scratching so if the calipers are new, freshly painted or just in really good condition then a super-soft feather-tip type brush would be safer.
Excellent channel, love your videos. But sometimes I ask myself if it’s a good idea washing and detailing in the sun light... Here in Italy, after 5 minutes of sun the car is hot and you can do nothing.
Not ideal but can’t afford to postpone a days filming (that has often already been postponed due to rain) because it’s sunny.
Car Cleaning Guru thanks! I understand.
If you want a bit more access but don’t have the time to remove the wheel, jack the car up and move the wheel as you clean to reveal more of the caliper that you can’t get to with the wheel in a fixed position.
This is tha work corella clean
I dont even have a car, but i like his way of talking
How would you clean unpainted calipers that are discoloured with brake dust and general ageing of the metal?
I wouldn’t, if anything I’d rub them down and repaint them satin silver then go from there.
@@CarCleaningGuru thank you.
How do you stop the discs dropping their rusty dust all over the wheels on the first drive after a good clean - very annoying !!!!!
I was wondering how long it takes for you to do a "basic" wash of your own car? Or perhaps I should ask what is the shortest amount of time it ever takes you to wash your own car?
An hour and a half and that’s with a single bucket 👀.
Would the Meguiar's wheel cleaner be safe on calipers?
Assuming they’re in good shape and it’s not left to dry. No difference between painted/lacquered calipers and painted/lacquered wheels.
What tyre dressing u use my G?
Class. You used the word "Mankey"... (Which means dirty).
Lave it. Lol 👏😁
What about caliper lube? I've stopped cleaning my calipers like that "casually", because they ALWAYS squel after cleaning them like that...i always disassemble them, clean them, and freshly lube them...
Hi, well there shold not be any lube. If they squel there is other issues.
@@reimop9595 Sure. Every single manual considering disc brakes REQUIRES you to put the special lube on the sides of the brake pad. If you are a mechanic, please get some education. If you are not a mechanic, let the professionals to the job...
@@NFreund Im not mechanic :) Lube or not choice is yours. But i can tell that its not 1/1 topic. Some brakebads never want lube some does etc.
Where did you purchase the brush storage fitted to bucket ?
It's called the buckanizer by detailing outlaws
I can see by the price why they call themselves outlaws🤣
@@tonyford7987 Well they are 100% Made in Germany thats why they are a bit on the expensive Side 😄
That accent is mesmerizing
Great job you did
Şu malzemeleri bana yolla arkadaş 😊
When are you going to bring out your own products Mr Guru??
🤷♂️🙄.
Can you make video of motorcycle cleaning some day? Superbike would be nice!
There’s a few bike vids on the channel already.
@@CarCleaningGuru Yep and i have seen them :) Must be getting old :)
This guys voice is not what I was expecting
Two piston rears.
ホイールブラシの名前知りたいです!
Уровень у тебя очень высокий, лучше твоих работ, пока не видел, реально досконально
So much easier to remove the wheel
Every time?
What about calipers that haven't been washed in, let's say, 20 years?
Then they’re dead to me.
My Audi calipers piss me off. I can spend 5 minutes with my cleaner and a brush. When dry its still dirty.
